“最高!”

We had a double room with no window but good aircon, nice area to relax on the terrace/garden, big kitchen available to use and tea coffee available all the time. Perfect location in the center and nice smiling staff

I stayed here for 3 nights. It is very far from most attractions and transport is extremely expensive and difficult in Phuket. Lovely hosts. Nice air conditioning in the rooms. Not really a social atmosphere for solo travellers (I did lots of sleeping and TV watching).Plenty of places to chill outside of your room if you wanna relax or have some private time. Overall, I’d say skip Phuket all together and just spend your time on the nearby islands and in Krabi.

Super friendly, lovely location in the hip old Phuket town, everything was clean, the beds were really comfy and there was a lovely common area with a TV and loads of DVDs in tons of languages. Free shower gel and shampoo, and a kitchen you can use! Loved it, 100% :)

“Amazing place ”

Cozy place, the staff is super friendly, the facilities are complete as well with hairdryer (which is essential for girls with long hair) and toiletries and hot shower. My only complaint is that footsteps from outside the room could be annoying at times.

In my 9 nights staying there in hostel. I can feel very comfortable. The whole staff, they are kind, polite and friendly. The place is always clean. I comfortable cooking my food in the kitchen. In my next visit.. i’ll make sure im going to stay in Ai phuket hostel again with my family..😘😊 I have a nice, good stay there!

“Great value in wonderful Phuket Town”

Great value. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Went out of their way on a number of occasions. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. It’s not luxurious, so if you seek that pay a lot more elsewhere.

“Everything you need”

The hostel has everything you need. Excellent value for money, great location, movie room, nice shower. The washing machine doesnt work that well, all my clothed ended up really really wet so not even an hour in the dryer could dry them and I had to hang it but the smell wasnt good.

This hostel was well thought for the backpacker. You got free toiletries and you can even use the kitchen and keep your food in the fridge. The staff is very nice!

We stayed in a private room with private bathroom, no breakfast. The room is ok, just that there's no proper tables or shelves to put things on, so we needed to just spread our things all over the floor, lol. The place itself is really nice: got common room , kitchen and all. I like the garden in the back; it's so relaxing. The best part , for me, is the staffs, especially the teenage girl whose smile is so welcoming. She could handle all the questions so calmly and professionally.

“Comfortable Bed & Helpful Staff”

Great location, you can go to the old town by walking. You can also rent a bicycle from the hostel to go to farther places. The bed was comfortable, I slept very well. The staff was helpful. I had to get to the airport at 6 am, but the earliest shuttle bus from town departs from 6, so that’s not an option. I didn’t want to take a taxi since it costs 800 bahts. Thanks to the receptionist girl at night, she managed to find a minivan that departed from 5 am which only cost me 300 bahts .

“Best hostel ever!!!”

Staffs are sooo friendly and knowledgeable. The place is in the middle of everything. You can rent a motorbike from the hotel to go to patong and other places easily. Rooms are nice and clean. Free coffee and biscuit love them. A lot of private sitting areas and bathrooms.

“Great hostel, European style”

We booked a double room with a shared bathroom and got an upgrade with a private one because they didn't have any available. On our last day, they allowed us to leave out bags and take a shower at the end of the day. Everything is clean and the staff is really friendly. Common areas like living room and kitchen are super nice. Would totally repeat.

Ai hostel has good location. Hostel closed by sunday walking stree, place for eat and easy to go to travel. Hostel stuffs are so nice. They always have good suggestion about travel plan and recommend nice places and beaches for me. Bedroom and bathroom are clean. When you has long stay you can ask them to change linen. They has taxi service that has good price and safe driver.

I have to say I loved this hostel. First of all the staff are extremely kind and helpful, secondly the location could not be better. Plus, there is a restaurant next door with delicious food and again, great staff... I don't know , this is one of those places that makes you feel really comfortable. Rooms and shower area are spacious and clean. They got a cute outdoor area and many many DVDs for a movie night in. I highly recommend this hostel.

All the way is all clean , shower room, beds, all is great!!!! Highly recommend! And the staff is good at English ,nice to talk to, and provide a lot information!

“Nice location, clean, helpful staff”

Nice location in Old Phuket town near the beautiful Thalang St. The rooms were clean with good working air-con and the shared bathrooms had hot water with good pressure. There's a nice quiet garden area, free Nescafe and tea, and a shared refrigerator. We rented the nicest motorbikes we have found in all of Thailand from them too at a fair price (good brakes, mirrors, start reliably). Would recommend to a friend!

A fifteen minute walk to the bus terminal where you can catch the airport bus for 100 baht. I stayed here the night before a flight and booked again for the night I get back.

“Best Hostel in Phuket City”

Best Location, Super Nice staff, Good cleanliness, Near famous local restaurants I have tried many hostels in Phuket city, and here is the best. I will recommend this place to everyone. I will come here again for sure. The bed and bed sheet are so new and clean. The quality of soap and shampoo are good. The hair dryer is also great.

“Perfect Stay!”

All of the staff were really nice and accommodating! You'd feel right at home :) The bus terminal is just a few minutes away, and most of Phuket Town's tourist spots are just around the corner. Many food establishments are just a few minutes away too. I would definitely book in Ai Phuket Hostel again when I visit Phuket 😃

The hotel staff is friendly and very accommodating. He help us book our tour trip and give us tips on where and what to explore in old town phuket. Communication is very good as well, very clean hostel and good facilities. The veranda is a nice place to chill. However internet connection is quite slow in the rooms, but its okay.

“What we needed for our short trip”

Great that they have easy laundry and lots of hanging space, as well as a full kitchen. Towels we remted were nice but it was too humid for such thick fabric to dry overnight. Very helpful with setting up our ferry to Railay, with transport to the dock! Perfect walking distance from the shuttle buses to other beaches. Only there for two days so couldn't make use of lots of their amenities. Felt a bit weird after they told us to eat next door because we found better and cheaper food elsewhere...not sure if there is a relationship there.

Stayed here for two nights . I had a late flight into Phuket and the reception was kind enough to come back for the night to check me in at 11pm. Staff was friendly and helpful. English was a bit limited but got the information I needed. Hostel is about 45 min drive from the Phuket International Airport.

“Bad service ”

1) we stay for 5 nights after third day staff become unfriendly. I am complaining the environment are loud in the middle of the night until 1.30am. Staffs did not take any action. 2) cleanliness drop till max. Even I apply "please make up my room" and after I went from island trip still the same did not clean my room and previous day I saw the maid was playing their phone and so lazy. 3) staffs must always remember client always the right. We don't simply complaint everything. 4) in the middle of the night reception is unavailable which is so bad. Anything that want to complaint have to wait after 8am / 8.30am when staff arrive only we can complaint. Please take action to those who complaint and make an improvement in future.

The staff at AI are amazing ! They are very helpful and so kind. A big shout out to Max who did an amazing job with everything we needed !! Comfy little hostel with tv room and clean as well! I felt right at home here.

Great Staff that were really helpful organising transport around Phuket without getting ripped off by thai gentlemen. Slept well both nights and the location made it easy to get wherever i wanted in Phuket town in no time at all!
