“Romantic place”

Resort is in the forest so leave your work and really spend time for vacation. We don't want any shopping or a lot of activities just want to relax and enjoy environment of nature. This place close to Night Safari so we have been there we have good time.

“False advertising and horrible customer service ”

We’ve stayed at this hotel at least five other times and loved it, but we will never stay here again. We booked a pool villa but upon arrival were given a “pool view room” which was more like a pile of dirt view. Staff refused to assist us, and they changed their posting details after our stay to retitle the room listing and information! Our $100 a night room they gave us was filthy, old, ancient TV, disgusting bathroom and totally unacceptable! We left, despite no refund and will not be back, ever.

Beautiful gardens, very serene atmosphere. Cottages was very nice , and outside veranda lovely. Pool is too small . Walking about also limited, in that not much about , unless you can walk as hiker. Temple on main road is nice, main road is a 5 min drive from hotel . But if you are looking for quiet and peaceful this is a perfect place to stay. Staff are wonderful and helpful. Restaurant is very good . I would return .

I think this hotel is a joke and fake .... the pictures presented must date from a long time ago! Hotel totally abandoned !!! no equipment announced is running !!! dirty pool! no SPA in sight .... staff half available! short hotel to avoid

“Excellent ”

Environment nice, family room is big, clean and comfortable. Quiet environment and we feel release. Breakfast is great! Vegetables are fresh! Staff are very nice and helpful. Well preparation for us. Example, arrangement for spa, bbq preparation, handmade welcome drink and food, shampoo.... etc. they use all from organic coffee power, etc....we are enjoying to stay this resort! Just little bit more request is that... if the private swimming pool could be more clean, that would be prefect!

“Quiet Getaway”

After staying at the center of a Night Market, my friends and I decided to move to a more quieter hotel. We found this property and couldn't be more happy. The staff are very friendly. Received the best massage here after two grueling massages from other spas. I liked that I can go shopping in a night market or mall where the crowded atmosphere can be draining and come back to a quiet space surrounded by nature.

“Delightful grounds”

The browns and gardens are beautiful. The meals were delicious. The staff was delightful. The room could have been a little bit cleaner-the curtains for Dusty, cobwebs in nooks and crannies,, the outdoor pool should have been spotlessly clean.

Excellent house with pool, definitely great, relaxing environment, quiet everywhere, I felt like staying in the forest with a 5 star clean comfort house, staff are helpful and kind, really nice spa, we joined the 2 hours body massage and only cost 1300. My suggestion :there have plenty of space, and handyman, hotel can consider to use the natural materials to design a small kids playground there, definitely can find these idea online, Australia Canada Japan etc, use the falled tree trunk, sand, water, plants, can make a wonderful playground for kids.

Nearby Doi Suthep... Pool villa is spacious... Breakfast is organic and fresh... Best of the best is owner, nice man who is super friendly, strongly recommend to revisit again and again...

“tranquil location”

good for small family.. the main swimming pool is quite dirty or not being maintained regularly. breakfast is awesome.. Overall, we got a good two night slept. There is a good waterpark closed by that the whole family would enjoy.

“Very quiet; great stay”

This is a place to stay if you want peace and quiet in a very rural setting. It's about 20 minutes' drive outside Chian Mai in a village called Hang Dong, but really peaceful. Lots of space - we stayed in a pool villa - great value for money. The property is a little on the older side and could use some renovation, but the rooms were very comfortable and the staff very helpful and friendly. We loved it!

“Beautiful resort inside the beautiful nature”

I stay one night at one bed room pool villa. The room very big with cool air condition. The pool is big enough for 2 persons. You can also enjoy the bath tub with hot or cold water beside the pool. The breakfast is on menu. You can choose the one you want. It’s quite good quality breakfast. The staff are very friendly. Check in and check out was very fast. I’m highly recommend. Tips : don’t forget to bring a mosquitos spray with you. You are in the natural. The mosquitos and bugs are around you.

“Perfect relaxing weekend getaway”

I loved everything about the private pool villa and had a luxurious relaxing few days. Private pool, outdoor bath, huge private sala for yoga and resting were all amazing. Breakfast was healthy and beautiful as well. Highly recommend.

It was okay. The villa pool is fine but there is many leaves dropping from the tree on the surface of pool. We didn't spend much time on the pool because of that (although we took all the big leaves away, there are still some discomposed leftover that are not easily removable by us)

“Not a choice for those who want to explore Chiang Mai”

We had booked for 4 nights but we only slept there for first 2 nights. We told the staff for check out on 3rd day and nobody tried to question the reason why we left. We hired a private car but it is too far from city thus we could not go out at night. Not a choice for us at all.

Pretty old resort in town but still able to keep clean and nice staff. Not highly recommended for those demand new and close to everything!

“nice place to relax and enjoy slow living”

There is no point to stay in the town center of Chang Mai so that was the reason we chose to live in Narittaye resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful, spa was also amazing, restaurant food was yummy and you can go anythere from this place - staff will help you to arrange any transport you like. Atmosphere was cozy, peaceful and nice. Nature all around. Our private pool villa was clean, well furnished and spacy. We really enjoyed this visit.

Nice place about 15m away from the city by car. You do need your own transport. Good base to explore the attractions out of the city. Good breakfast and quiet.

Staff are good and place nice for relaxing, good food. Worth to try the Breakfast for once. Don't expect much as the resort is far from the city. Can spend 2-3 days if want to get off from busy city.

We chose this resort which said food was the main point of interest.we were decieved and very upset cause the dishes cooked was not upto the review found.The first dinner and next day break fast was highly satisfactory.Then nothing was same.Buffet breakfast with no special touch.Lunch was awful and our last dinner was very upsetting.Room had no light even the Spa.was nothing exceptionnel.Yes the location was fantastic,peaceful and gardens were very restful.

“relaxing in the forest”

Superb resort in nam phrae, out of the way but exactly where we wanted to be. Each house is private and spacioud, set in a quiet forest and organic gardens. We barely saw another guest during our stay over new year. Food is very good, with mainly Thai dishes, all organicly grown on site. Staff friendly and speak very good English.

“So peaceful ”

The setting is beautiful and relaxing. There is not much to do which means you have to relax, lay outside and read a book or wander around the gardens. We used the bikes to ride up the road. Came across the Grand Canyon and lots of little cafes. The food at this restaurant is divine. Highly recommend the three flavoured fish, creme brulee and brownie cheesecake. In our room we had an outside shower. Very private but under the trees. Was an an amazing experience.

Such a beautiful and green environment, friendly staff. However, the tiles in the pool is broken then its cut my kids' feet and fingers. It is very dangerous indeed. At night, there is the army of night bugs so it can't open the door in the second.

“Good food, good location away from city”

July 2016, 6 nights in one bedroom pool villa. Great room, though room closest to road gets lot of road noise, so we asked to move to a room away from road, which was a big improvement as the private pool and garden was shielded by villa. Manager very helpful with transfers and taxi, responsive to all of our requests. Restaurant food was very good with a wide menu of both healthy and not so healthy options (cakes for dessert). Staff very good. Garden staff were mindful of guests and kept noise to a minimum while mowing and using power tools. Improvement would be on private pool cleaning as it was not cleaned during the six night stay. Location is away from city, so taxi to city can be high, but great location if you want to just relax.

Just a lap pool, and was expecting something a little more substantial. But all in all, a good stay.

Nice resort, but I wouldn't be happy with paying the full price on their site thou. Really quiet area and grow most of their food onsite; really nice meals served here! Looks as if they have yoga classes but they don't, need to book a yoga package with them directly and seems quite expensive.

I stayed here as for its spa and yoga designTion. No yoga at all. Spa offered massages and the ladies were excellent. Although concierge was helpful with arranging taxi that was it. He was a bit of a grump The food was very good

Very good pool villa resort at resonable price. Delicious breakfast with fresh vegetable. It is better to provide a thin quit and bed sheet during hot summer season.

“A secret garden in chiang mai”

Our stay was very pleasant, thanks to the staff who was able to accomodate our last minute needs. As we were travelling with a baby, it can be sometimes difficult for a hotel to answer our requests properly, but the staff of the Narrittaya was able to answer them beyond our expectations! They booked for us last minute transportation for the day. The staff was very attentive towards our needs. The location is a bit remote from the city, but it is not a constraint. It is located nearby the Night Safari. Will take you less than 30 minutes to reach the airport. Was impressed by the fact the the resort grow their own food. The food is excellent at a reasonable price and the restaurant is open all day.

“Family Getaway”

Our family stayed at the two bedrooms villa back in November, and had such a wonderful time we will be coming back next year for sure. Staff were attentive, helpful and warm and made us felt at home. The resort itself has a quiet and subdued charm, and its emphasis on organic farming was a highlight. The food were tasty, and my little girl really enjoyed walking around nature and seeing the farm animals.

“Disappointing ”

I found a cockroach in the room!!!!!! and die in front of toilet. The room was cleaned long time ago that make the floor have dust also the counter too!, towel are sticky. We need to change the towel by ourselves and when we informed to staff that plz change towel for me and have a cockroach in the room. They just stun and pretend nothing happen. It's gonna be my first time and last time in here!
