if you wanted to find a cheap transient I highly recommend to check out other inn's first cause they also provide the same rates 500 per head.
It was a homey experience specially it was Christmas Day! Food so homey as well. Highly recommended
I've nothing but praises to say about this place. the Serenity upon waking up on seeing those mountain. (Great View!!!)Awesome!!! I will definitely stay with them again. Highly Recommended.
Very nice staff! The view is also great. Thank you.
Ok lng
Nawawalan tubig ng 9pm-6am?
Great location, close to many shops but it’s a bit uphill so be ready to walk up for 2-3mins.
We always stay at this hotel every time we go up to Sagada. Location is just right, courteous staff and value for money.
Pros: Budget friendly hotel, do not expect too much. Pet is allowed. Cons: No Wi-Fi in the room only in the lobby area, They've asked for deposit upon check-in, but unfortunately, I forgot to get it upon check-out. The receptionist didn't remind us.
The hotel is no-frills and basic. If your expectations are not high, it's perfect. It's clean and inexpensive and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location is within a convenient walking distance of the centre of Sagada.
Perfect hotel to spend one or two nights in Sagada. Close to everything, quiet & clean Exactly what you can expect in this area.
The hotel was basic. It was at the edge of the main drag. If you don’t mind walking, it’s a good place to be. It’s quiet and the staff were friendly.
....carpark and easy access to big cave...
All good. Only issue is that they dont have bidet installed. Though i think most lodging establishments in Sagada dont have it yet.
Simple and affordable hotel to stay in sagada if you are a backer, aside from it is near to the famous lemon pie house, yughort house in town. It is also has restaurants nearby where you can grab your lunch and dinner.
Check time is 3:00pm; we arrived at 7:30am and allowed to stay in the room without extra charge. 20 minutes walk going to town, quite and clean room and friendly staff.
Such good value for money. The staff were lovely and very helpful. There is a small shop underneath and a place where you can get your water bottles filled.
It was a really good stay here. The hot shower was really a plus since the water in sagada is ice cold. There a re cabinets and places to hang and put stuff with. The downside is that it is really uphill so it's not for the fainted heart. The good side that comes with it is the view. From the balcony on your floor, theres a great view of sagada mountains.
I liked the room! As a solo traveler, I enjoyed staying here because of the cleanliness and value for money. There were just a minor problem though, their lock of the room was a bit hard to use. I struggled opening/closing the lock and key. Over all, it is perfect. Quiet, peaceful and clean.
I stayed for a night and it was okay. Nothing fancy but you do get what you paid for.
Staff are very accomodating
Stayed here for 3 days. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The place is approx 800m away from tourist office so if you're not fond of walking long uphill/downhill distance then it's not a good place for you. There are restaurants nearby so it's all good. Room is clean and has working hot shower. Overall, it was a good stay.
Room is good for a group of 4 with 2 children as they provided 4 bed for us, room is very basic but clean and presentable. Water heater for coffee if added to each room is a good add ons, but they will provide hot water from there restaurant if you will request. Emergency light for room also is good if they can install for the future, we have power failure from sagada on 1st night and the whole city is dark
I stayed 2 nights and it was not good you here all the noise of people outside and inside the property. Ordered our breakfast and it was not good. I always go to sagada everytime I visit the country but will never stay here again. We did not sleep at all for 2 nights it was a nightmare little bugs crawling once you turn off the lights, towels are and beddings are worn out. Need a lot of improvement. You get what you pay for I would say! Stay away! Not worth it!
Not so good hotel for me.
Nice location, but if you get a room next to their (or their neighbors’) chicken coop, say goodbye to sleeping more than 2 hours at the time when the rooster throws a party.
Sagada as a destination is enough. The Shamrock Tavern Inn is your basic Mountain province hotel that has a pension or bed & breakfast vibe so everything is very casual. It does not have the classic amenities for a hotel like a TV, Working Desk, Mini-ref, or an electric kettle but as I said, Sagada is enough. Your view of any window is superb. Shamrock is about 10 min. walk to the heart of Sagada, 3-5 mins from great restaurants like Yogurt House, Crepe House, and Bana Coffee.
Safe parking. key lock only. Pleasant owner.
I have stayed here 2x's, Shamrock Tavern is clean, friendly, and good location, near a few restaurants away from the town proper. Good walking distance to near by places.
The place is quite far from the center and since it's far from it, lesser noise and people passing by which is nice. Friendly staff. Functioning hot shower. They also serve good food with a nice view from their resto.
Great place on a budget, the room was cleam and big enough with hot water. Prices in the restaurant were fine. Staff friendly as always in the Philippines but they can be more helpful giving information about activities and directions.
Staff is nkt so good. Ill be pointing out the one in the kitchen the teller i guess his so rude when she speaks when im just asking for another rice but he scolded me when he can say it with a soft voice.
I stayed in Shamrock for 3 days and 2 nights last January 28-30. I arrived around 10:30 am and early check in is not a problem. The room is clean and big enough for 1 person. It has 2 beds, cabinet and the bathroom is clean. The working heater is a very big plus points coz the weather is cooler than usual during my visit. The place is a 12-15 mins walk from the town proper but near to some of the must eat restaurants in Sagada like Lemon Pie House and Sagada Brew. My only comment is that most of the time there’s no staff in the reception area, when I was about to check out I had to wait for almost 10 minutes even if I rang the bell several times already to call their attention. And in my room the only working outlet is near the main door, so if you’re used to use your phone while charging.. you can’t. 😅 But I had a nice and quiet stay in Shamrock overall.
Everything was clean, they are very nice.
Nice quiet and clean stay! Comfortable rooms with en suite and just walking distance to town
Location- 10-15 min walk from the town proper... Not bad in burning some fats. With a very steep and curve pavement going to the hotel, some might find it difficult. Staff/food- accomodating and meals served were sumptuous. I love the tea! Room- spacious with a rest room, clean. Facilities- unlimited water supply. Hot and cold shower available, with plenty of reading materials in the book shelves/library by the lobby. Wi-Fi- at the lobby for free. Fee- budget friendly.
There must be better hotels in Sagada... we stayed in a bare bones room. The most basic furnishing like a chair or sidetable is not provided. The pillows were the hardest on top of the thin mattress. We can't give any positive remarks.
Good location 👍
The hotel is far. You need a car, or motorbike to enjoy this hotel. Unless you fancy walking uphill everytime you go for your brkfast, lunch, dinner. The hotel offers basic amenities nothing special. Decent room, clean old towels, no elevators to use, you have to carry your own luggsge up the steps to your room. I find the staff ok but not warm, you have to iniate the greetings. The Restaurant is not inviting though they have eatable menu i find the place no appeal or ambiance. But again the painful gsr is yhe location. Its location is at the end of the 30minutes uphill walk. The local will say its only 15minutrs walk duhof course they are used to it.. But not the tourist. From the bus station you walk downhill 30mins downhill wiyh your luggage or backpack..then by the time for departure thats uphill struggle of 45mins. Thats why i wont recommend if you dont have your own ride. Sagada fors not have a Taxi or Trike. It a plave where you nerd to walk or hike.
Good food.
Rooms are big and clean. What I like best is the staff who are very friendly and nice
Overall experience was good but it would be better if there’s internet in the room so we don’t need to go to lobby to connect.
I booked this place even though I was well aware that it's a bit far from the town center. Little did I expect that when I had arrived there that the staff would allow me to check in earlier that expected, with no additional charge. Checking in starts at 2:00 pm but since I had arrived 5 hours prior to that, they let me had the room with no additional cost. The place is cozy, the staff is very accommodating and friendly (shoutout to Hanna and Grace). I would come back here! They're phenomenal! ❤️
We had an amazing vacation in Sagada! Thanks to Poli the owner of Shamrock who took care of us and treated us like family! He made sure that we enjoy the best tourist spots in Sagada. At the Inn, we felt so comfortable. The room was nice with a very good view of the mountain. The beds were good size and clean. There is a hot shower. Raymond the reception guy was amazing and always smiling. They sell some stuff at the reception area like hygiene stuff, snacks and drinks ( including alcoholic beverages) and they provide COMPLIMENTARY LOCAL BREWED COFFEE (delicious coffee!!!) at the lobby 24/7! And on our last night Poli (the owner) cooked dinner for us and sent it to our room.🙂🙂🙂. If you are a dog lover, you might wanna look for Poli's dogs who are so sweet and cute😃 Storm, Kirky and Rambo🙂🙂🙂. Thank you Poli for your warm hospitality!❤ We look forward to visit there again. My family loved it! We highly recomend Shamrock Tavern for a place to stay in Sagada!
I enjoyed my stay here, though its really a long walk from the center. You have to walk for 10 to 15 mins, and if you have heavy bags then its going to be a hassle for you. The place was in good location away from the noise and with a good view. The room is clean, with towel and soap plus working heater for shower. They have friendly staff. All in all my experience here is good.
We always book at Shamrock Inn when we go to Sagada. Rooms are spacious enough for groups. CR is clean with working warm shower. Will book again when we return.
basic hotel but in sagada it's ok
Quiet and comfortable room with hot shower. Attentive staff
Rooms were clean with hot water. Bedsheets/blankets were clean. Very quiet.
“非常に満足”
It may be a trek to the central part of the town, but it is within the vicinity of cool restos and cafes.
