The location was great, only 5 minutes walk to the town centre. It was also near the bus stop from the airport. We took the room with a kitchenette and it had everything we need to prepare our meals. The room was very spacious. The only drawback was the parking. It was limited and quite tight to get in and out of it.

Great location. The rooms needs to be refurbished and bed was not confort able. The staff at check out was not professional, she was talking loud on the phone in a personal call in Spanish and the room where I left my luggage was messy with food leftover on the table. When I came back there was other people next to my luggage unattended which did not feel safe everyone could have opened my backpack etc.

“Noisy and No Room Service.”
The place was clean enough. It was close enough to the centre of town to walk there. The beds were comfortable. There was a seat on the very large shower. We were there for four days and not once was our room cleaned. No towels were changed and neither was the bedding. There were only curtains on the balcony doors. Every other window other rooms could see directly into our room, even the toilet. The only recourse was to pull the blinds leaving the room feeling small and uninviting. The rooms were noisy. Due to no carpet and no insulation we could hear everything from the streets and other rooms. I guess that is why they supplied ear plugs.

“A few days stay ”
We arrived later than planned due to poor weather conditions affecting our flight. The check-in was arranged so our key was waiting for us as reception isn't 24hr. Our room was basic but had what we needed. We had a small balcony looking over the front. The location is great as only a few minutes to the main area. Our only negative thing was the bathroom which had a loud fan that came on when the light was used so in the middle of the night that woke up my partner or I. The shower was also very weak. I would book again but probably go for a slightly bigger room.

“Great room close to centre”
The rooms are large and well set up, big bathrooms, sofa, all the facilities but no kitchenette/ crockery. Staff supplied me a plate and cutlery on request. Only 3 minutes by a walkway across the road to the centre of shopping and dining. Usually parling available but not allocated, and street parking would be poor.

Big rooms, well furnished, friendly staff, easy walk to restaurants, bars, pier. Great if you don't have transport. Parking is not allocated, if you miss out, street parking is hard to get, often costs/limited, and maybe insecure.

Had a great time here while we were wanting to explore the city a bit more. It’s walking distance to anything you need in town, closer to the park as well which was nice. Fresh cozy bed was waiting for us when we got back. Would happily come back

Spacious room in a superb location where you are a street away from the edge of CBD. Comfortable mattress and pillow. You do get some noise in the morning when people get out and about but by and large tolerable. Would highly recommend if the cost fits your budget.

We booked the king room. Bed is comfortable and spacious, as is the room. Well located and just outside the cbd itself, so no noise of traffic or people. Barely a 5 minute walk into the CBD. Very happy for the price.

The lodge had a toaster we could borrow and fresh milk - made our breakfasts much more enjoyable. Location is also near the bus stop for ski bus pick up (although up a small slope) and near the town area (altho once again requires a slope to get back to the lodge but that is most of queenstown)
