“Budget Accommodation at Dunedin”
This is second time I stay at Kiwi Nest. The building is a bit old now but still clean. Although with some crack on the wall. The heater wasn't working very well and cold in the early morning. Although the staff borrow us a small heater, but it is not strong enough for one big room.

“Good Backpacker hotel”
I'm order room from Agoda with Bathroom and Kitchen inside the room, but unfortunately system is wrong booking to Double Standard. I have complain it, and the Hotel's staff help me, but there is no Room with Kitchen inside, only with Bathroom inside. And I have to pay extra 20 NZD. Overall the facility and everything is good.

“Strategically Located near the High Street and Uni of Otago”
We stayed here on our two visits to Dunedin. Convenient location as it is within walking distance both to town and to Uni of Otago. The staff were also friendly and were ever ready to lend a helping hand.

“Great place meeting great people”
Great value for money too, very nice and kind hostess. The only thing for me feel not very convenient is probably limited number of bathroom and toilet, due to the oldness of the house, anything else is just as great as.

“That’s the best hostel I have stayed. It defenieatly value for money.”
They provide coffee, tea, sugar and kitchen equipments which are in good condition. Cleanliness way higher than a usual backpackers hostel.

“good location, great facilities”
I booked share single room. Everything is ok except the bed is queen so the room is small. Hard for me to move around when i open my luggage. Great facilities, location and helpful staff.

“Perfect 10!”
Everything is nice about this motel. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The facilities are all complete. They have few kitchen that can be use if you stay in standard room. They have washer and dryer. Room is warm and cosy. Hot water is available all the time.

“Bun beds shake violently whenever people on them move. ”

Super efficient very friendly staff/management. The location is perfect - close to town, the university and attractions. It's very clean and has a nice homely feel to it. Highly recommended!

“Many longstayerd there”
Almost students of Medical University there. Whim longstayer. They had monopoly own rocker in kitchin , Room's rocker also. Shawer was narrow,no miller. Cold. 1 old receiptIonist , very slow working. 1 woman's cleaner was very lazy and alogance, ill moner. Uncomfortable. Far from bus stop.

“Decent place to stay, fully contained unit”
Unit does not have a table, but has a countertop and 2 bar seats. Was okay for us, but some may find it odd. Room was cozy, only improvement I can think of is that it needs an additional window that can be opened for ventilation near the bed.

“Backpackers? It's a really nice one then!”
Comfortable Bed, Wifi, Nice BathroomI had a really wonderful time at the Kiwi's Nest! The bed was so comfy, the shared bathroom was so clean, had hot water, the mini-kitchen in the second floor had a fridge, coffee, & tea. And the location was the best! Just 8-15 walk to downtown Dunedin. There was also parking on the sides, but it's limited so first come, first served. Will stay there again!

“Good, clean, value for money”
This is the second time i stay here, still satisfy as My first time stay, staff is good, room is big, although its an old style building, but facilities such as bath room , toilet and kitchen is enough, free unlimited wifi, free parking (few slot), will recommend for friend and come back again.
