Nice hotel but very old

Stayed only for a single night so as to visit Venice . very comfortable stay as room size is big with two double beds (1 DB+ Double Sofa bed) .Very close to Mestre Train station . Radio Taxi charges only 15 euros. Bus no 2 takes to Venice ( 15-20 mins) . Although the bus stop Olimpia is 10-12 min short walk m

Location is good, just less than 10 minutes to the nearest bus station. Towel, amenities were provided. However, they only provided one bottle of water throughout the stay. We can buy water from LIDL which is the opposite of the bus station.

I was very happy with my stay and we enjoyed it. Staff was excellent and helpful, hotel was great, kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the other facilities. The only negative thing, is the carpets in the corridors smells bad and very old, which didn’t bother me too much as i was aware of that since it was almost the same comment from every guests.

I love the hotel. It is so clean, but it is far from the bus station

We visited for 2 days & enjoyed the spacious more modern Hotel in contrast to the busyness of Venezia itself . Mid aged Novotel styling but our room was nice. Would recommend if you don't mind walking 10 to 15 min to bus connection to either Venezia SL (island) or back to Venizia Mestre (Mainland). Day or single trip bus & ferry tickets available from hotel which is very handy.

I gave 1 star less as the phone was not working in the room and in the reception they dint even attempt to fix or apologize... rest all is fine

Good hotel, you can get to Venice itself by buses 8E (one stop) + 25. The area is a little far away but there is a well-developed transport network. We arrived half an hour earlier and asked to wait until check-in time. I recommend.

The receptionist is Friendly. Room is clean and spacious. Hotel is 25mins away from City. Public Parking is available outside the Hotel.

Novotel mestre is a clean and relatively a new property with swimming pool and a restaurant in it with lots Of parking spaces. Only negative side is located 30 minutes drive away from Venice and there are nothing around. Nearest center is Mestre Centro you could find restaurants , bus and tram stop to go to Venice .

I am a frequent traveller since long time for business and also for holidays. I had the experience where the family and myself left the mall in Venice and we couldn’t find taxi. It was late at night and no taxis were available. I called the hotel to help by hiring a taxi for me and charge me with the cost including additional fees. But the staff in front office they decline, they shared with me the taxi company number and they said they can not book a taxi for me! I informed them it was an emergency situation as it was late night and the kids were with me but they did not care! The problem I faced is he taxi company is not answering the phone and when they answered once, they dot speak English! I have to ask another family who were looking for taxi to call the taxi company and hire the taxi for both families and I paid for them! This is sort of service you can get from the staff of this hotel! Very bad and unforgettable experience!
Not much option in vegetarian food while there were many non vegetarian food. Otherwise everything was fine and perfect. Staff was cooperative and helpful.

It was a great hotel with great staff that could speak a range of languages The only problem was that it was a while to get to anywhere big or to Venice but if you are just looking for a relaxing holiday then it was a perfect hotel
It's a good place to stay in if you are visiting Venice as it's very well connected by bus, they also so good breakfast and sell day pass so you can travel to Venice or local places all day. I prefer this hotel instead of spending fortune staying inside Venice.

The location is a little bit far from the train station. Overall the service is quite good. The breakfast is good but not so much variety of food.
The check in counter staffs are friendly and helpful but not the staffs at Breakfast place. Particularly one female service staff. She is obviously racist, serving beverages to non Asians and rather rude when answering our queries.

Book executive room on executive floor but without executive lounge. Quite upset.
Its a ok hotel to stay, the room was clean an spacious. Aircon and wifi both worked well. Breakfast was ok if you like to have fried sausages and bacon, atmosphere at breakfast is quite noisy because it seems that a big tourist group is also staying in the hotel, there was a big line and some of the options like bacon, tomato, fruits were consumed very fast and take so long to be refilled. Hotel is not in Venice but easy to get into if you have your own car, it is about 15 minutes drive if you know your way.It is a ok hotel to stay if you are on a business or short stay.
The hotel is reasonably modern, and the reception is pleasant. Check-in was efficient, but the staff generally seemed to be just doing their job rather than showing any real friendliness. I booked with agoda for a superior king room saying that there will be complimentary bottled water, but the staff say that only the "executive" room has it and there was nothing that they can do.Breakfast was okay, but not up to the standard of Novotels we have stayed before. The only hot offerings were scrambled eggs, sausages, and bacon (most of them burnt). Little choice of fresh fruit. When an item had run out it will take some time to be replaced.It is not super conveniently located to get to venice or the train station,but it was easy to get there by a taxi

We really enjoyed our stay here. All staff were helpful and spoke excellent English. Easy transport to Venice. Very close to a Lidl so you can stock up on reasonable food for your day out. Breakfast was very good. Clean rooms. Definitely recommend if you are travelling to Venice with a car.
We only stayed in this hotel for two nights. Have not got a good impression as the hotel is so fully occupied by a lot of tourist at this time of the year. On the first day of arrival we were given dinner at the hotel and service is so abhorrent. Would only recommend as a stopover for those people on the move to other places. The only plus point is the WIFI provided.

It's a great choice if you want to roam venice for the day and not bothered staying in the main area due to the hotels fare, its 10 mins walk to the bus stop that takes you to the main area. Great value
Rooms were clean and they stay was comfortable. Location's a bit far from the city centre though.
We could get a special offer for the room. So price/value was very nice. The Hotel has an outside pool. There is a good grill restaurant across the street. Easy access with car. Parking for free or with a little fee on video guarded parking lot. Good food. Nice breakfast was included. Bus to Venice Piazze del Romana in 30min (1.60 Euro per way if prebooked at Hoteldesk, or as a combi-ticket including the ships in Venice.)Comfortable Hotel. I would recommend it to my friends.

It was very good. Only let down is the location really. It's far from the bus stop, no nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast was ok at best. 7/10
Decent hotel; however Mestre is not exactly around the corner from Venice. Hotel is big, with a nice view of the mountain range.

A bit far from bus station and hard to find out the hotel if you are the 1st time to stay in it. If you are driving, that is very convenience. Room is old and a bit dirty. Not variety choices for breakfast.
Value for money with a spacious room and free public parking nearby the hotel. A bus stop is just around the corner if you want to venture Venice City. It is very convenient to travel by bus because we had enough of Italian driving. Its 20 minutes ride and you can spend all day because the last return bus is till 12MN. Would recommend this hotel to friends and definitely coming back to Novotel Venicia
Novotel rooms are big. It is comfortable. Air cond is not cold and we had to open up the windows. It is convenient as it comes with car park.

The beds are not comfortable, the staff was rude, they seem to work on commission because our check-in clerk kept trying to sell us ad-ons. He told us breakfast was 12 euros for the two of us per day (I clarified that it was 12 euros for both and not per person) he then charged us 48 euro for the two of us for two nights (so 12 euro each) when I went back to see why I was overcharged, there was a different clerk who scoffed at me or thinking it was 12 euro for both of us, we returned the breakfast vouchers and spent the money at grocery store around the comer and we got enough food for a week. This hotel costs about 15 euro taxi ride from the mestre train station, and to get to venice it's a 30 euro taxi ride, there is a bus stop by the Lidl that will take you to Vince as well for less than 2 euro. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that it was clean, well kept, and pretty modern, however the toilets had a smell (may be the plumbing) so we just kept the toilet lids closed. Overall, it was overpriced for what it was, even the pop cans in the vending machine were priced at 4,50 euro. I wouldn't stay here again, and after this experience I wouldn't stay at any other novotel.
