“Great value and amazing staff”
We truly had such a wonderful stay here at Mirage. Ba welcomed us with open arms and allowed early check in. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Unbelievable value for money. Location was great tucked away in the fort. The place also had great rooftop for views of the city

“Great choice inside Jaisalmer Fort ”
Tucked away in a quiet corner of the fort, this hotel is a gem. And Ba is a helpful host. Get a deluxe room if you can, as it has great view.

“Excellent stay”
Ba and the entire staff were very welcoming and helpful. Friendly atmosphere, great food at the cafe at affordable prices for Jaisalmer. The budget room was clean and a great deal for the price. Also a great view from the rooftop cafe. Overall a wonderful place to stay inside the fort.

“very welcoming hotel at perfect loaction”
We had a really great time in Jaisalmer, and Ba’s hotel and kindness is a great part of it. The hotel is in perfect location, room is spotless and there’s a good rooftop restaurant too.

“The perfect place in Jaisalmer ”
Ba is a really good man. He can advise you about his city and I you want you can go in the desert with his team. The location is perfect close the fort, clean and quiet !

“Great budget hotel”
Great hotel, cheap! Bed the same as all others of much higher price. Mr Ba was so lovely. He will organise laundry etc. while there is no hot water in the shower Mr Ba will get you hot water, just ask. Top location. We expected a very rough hotel at the price, but it was fine.

“Unique experience in the fort”
Ba is such an amazing host. He is very kind, helpful and genuine. We arrived at the hotel at around 7am because our train arrived at 4:30am. Though we waited at the train station before heading to Ba's hotel, he had the room ready for us when we arrived and allowed us to check in early. The room is basic, cleanliness can be improved, and there's no hot water. However, the location is amazing and you pay get what you pay for. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheap accommodation with a genuinely friendly host.

“Worst place I've stayed.”
The room was dirty, had about 50cm of paint and player missing around the bottom of the walls. The communal toilet smelt horrendously bad. What was most annoying was on Agoda, it said it had a TV, ensuite, kettle etc so I planned on this being a nice stop. In the end, I left I unwashed and viewing never to come back.

“Like staying at a friend's house”
Ba is the kindest host with a pure and honest heart. Our room was comfortable, the food was excellent, and Ba's camel safari was fantastic. It felt good to be able to trust we would be well cared for. I would return there definitely! Staying right inside the fort is magical.

“Good Location...”
Ba, the owner is really a nice person. He cooks amazing food. The location of this hotel is inside the fort so it's easily accessible to the entire fort.

“You get what you pay for ”
Negative Guests share a toilet which is a bit smelly, blankets and bed sheets are very old and used Positive Ba and his stuff are so friendly and helpful! They have a nice restaurant and Ba offers great Dromedar Safari Tours out of Touristic places. You have to book with him, it absolut with it! Fazit The price for a room is very cheap and you get what you pay for.

“Nice, easy, friendly”
This is a simple place run by a nice owner Ba, who cooks clean, good, home cooked food, and who enjoys interacting with guests from around the world. Though camel safaris are on offer here there is no pressure to go on them. Overall it was a relaxing stay and the food was definitely a highlight. Additionally, it was really nice to be picked up from the train station late at night. I recommend this place.

“Great attention, great food and great location”
We came here because of a friend's recomendation. We booked through Agoda for staying a night. But after arriving, Ba recommended us to go and spend the night in the desert with his team. Everything was absolutely fantastic and well prepared. We finally did not sleep in the hotel, but we could stay here as much as we wanted during our resting moments. Food is perfect and prices are also really good! We would recommend it without any doubt, its location, price, food and manager deserve it!

“Basic room ”
Basic room, nice restaurant area, good for socializing, food is good, and location convenient. Lots of things to improve: 1) communication with Ba. We had issues with Ba because he never told us that the water is limited and we lost water in the middle of our showers. We couldn't take a shower one day or flush the toilet because the hotel lost all its water and he didn't even explained why and didn't apologize. It would be nice if he explains this from the beginning so we people can plan accordingly. 2) Ba needs to chill if people don't book camel safari with him. He got kinda upset because we didn't want his safari. 3) Bed sheets were dirty when we arrived. We had to ask him to change them because they were clearly dirty and used. He was fine with that and changed them. 4) He tries to be nice, especially with women,but sometimes it can feel creepy if you are by yourself. This is just the way I felt. Not everyone have felt this way. 5) No mirror and no toilet paper in room.

“Mini haven in the heart of Golden Fort”
Ba's Mirage hotel was the perfect choice for us. I picked this place based on reviews and particularly everyone's appreciation of Ba who owns and runs the place. He was every bit the words of the reviews. Kind, learned, hospitable and tireless one man army. His place is a small but perfect spot to check into, relax, sunbathe, have a cuppa and make new friends almost everyday. We stayed 2 whole days and felt like it was a week. The facilities are perfect for the price and ambiance. Lovely cafe, laid back spaces, terraces and cozy rooms and perfect and safe parking for bikes (I had a Bonneville). Ba will provide you with whatever you need and whenever you need it. He is well spoken and always comes with a smile - I'd say for many hospitality folks, he should be the template for hospitality and patronage. Thank you Ba. I will be back soon :)

“A home in the desert”
If you are looking for a quiet, clean and friendly place to spend a few days in Jaisalmer, then Mirage Hotel is exactly what you need. The location is very convenient, only a few steps from everything that you need. The place is clean, and most importantly, the staff makes you feel right at home. Ba, the owner, takes really good care of you and treat you just like family. I highly recommend Mirage Hotel! Thank you Ba! Ciro

“Wonderful stay”
We had a wonderful stay at Mirage hotel. The owner, Ba, really took care of us and made us feel like we had a home in (sometimes hectic) india. The rooms are simple but nice and there is the restaurant on the balcony, a perfect place to unwind and relax. We also booked a desert tour (2D/1N) with Ba, which was done by his uncle. It was wonderful and we'd recommend it to anyone. I would definitely come back here.

“Best in Jaisalmer ”
Great place for the price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cooks great food too. Very chiĺl place not pushy to just book you tours. Great roof lounge too. Room was simple yet cozy. Clean and quiet.

“A little Gem in the heart of the Fort ”
Ba is very welcoming and friendly. He creates a very relaxing atmosphere from start to finish. The cafe has the best views of the city palace and is a comfy place to spend the evening after a long day exploring. Excellent food, try the mushroom pes curry!! Ba can organise an excellent camel Safari which is well and truly off the beaten track. The rooms are small and comfy and excellent value for money. Stay here if visiting Jaisalmer!We had a lovely time and would come again. Thank you Ba.

“The owner Ba is the most fantastic man in india”
Ba- went above and beyondI was so I'll with gastroenteritis. Ba took me to the hospital and translated everything. He even gave me some therapy learnt from his grandfather. He went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I will be forever greatful for his hospitality and care. The location of the hotel is perfect as well. Very chill rooftop

“저렴한가격의집같은호텔”
포트 안의 호텔인데도 불구하고 엄청 저렴하고 저렴한데도 방이 깨끗하고 화장실도 깨끗해요 그리고 온수도 나온답니다 지금 더운 시기인데 여기는 다른곳보다 선선해서 머무는동안 더워서 괴로운적은 없었어요 그리고 선셋뷰가 정말 좋습니다! 무엇보다 주인아저씨가 너무 친절하세요 먹을거 계속 주시고 가끔씩 쿠킹클래스처럼 요리도 해서 먹기도하고 여행끝나고도 길이길이 기억에 남을 호텔입니다 다음에 오면 무조건 여기 또 올거에요

“Deficiente”
Para empezar, cuando entramos en la habitación .... esta no había visto un trapo en años ... el baño ni lo imaginas ... hubo que limpiarlo todo antes de poder usarlo. El dueño en principio es muy servicial, pero cuando te vas ya le importas poco y por su culpa y habernos dicho que no habría problema en encontrar transporte nos tocó ir andando hasta la estación de tren (2 km) por calles imposibles de andar con una maleta de ruedas a las 12 de la noche .... muy decepcionante.

El dueño del hotel es esa persona que debes conocer en cada ciudad, la que te cuenta todo, la que te ayuda ante un eventual problema, la que “cuida” de ti.

“Parfait séjour dans le fort de Jaisalmer”
Ba was a perfect host, nice and friendly, always making sure everything was ok. The bedroom was confortable and clean and the food really tasty. I had a nice stay at his place, I first booked for one night but I ended to stay four. I really felt like home. The best place I ever stayed after 3 months travelling in India. I highly recommend this hotel.

Situé dans le fort, dans la vieille ville, calme, tenu par Ba qui est super. Il n'est pas insistant pour les camel safari on s'y sent vraiment bien et les prix sont plus que très doux.

“The best inside the fort !”
Ba nous installe dans son hotel comme à la maison ! Toujours souriant, de bons conseils, jamais trop insistant, nous avons prolongé notre séjour à Jaisalmer pour profiter de ce coin de tranquillité ! Nous avons passé de d'excellentes soirées sur la terrasse, partager avec Ba et les voyageurs de l'hotel, un magnifique concert pour holi.... Je recommande sincèrement ;) Nous avons également réservé notre trip dans le desert auprès de Ba, une expérience unique et riche de découvertes.

“Tres bonne adresse ”
Chez Ba on est comme a la maison, c'est un homme adorable qui prend soin de ses hotes. Tres bon rapport qualite/prix. Le resto propose de delicieux plats. Petit coin relax pour se detendre sur des coussins. Ba peut vous organiser un camel safari dans le desert, tres bonne experience à tester !

“Soggiornare in questo albergo e come vivete in una favola ”
Ho soggiornato presso questo hotel per circa una settimana, qui mi sono sentito veramente bene e a mio agio, il proprietario del hotel e una persona davvero speciale .. mi è venuto a prendere nella pizza principale alle 2 di notte. Lui è davvero una persona molto gentile e speciale, in questo hotel tutto è andato molto bene e mi sento davvero di consigliare questo meraviglioso albergo proprio in una posizione bellissima. La vista è unica e la posizione è vicina tutti i luoghi d’interesse.

The owner is a pleasant and helpful person. You must know that all hotels or guest houses in Jaiselmer if the room rate is low; 2, 3, 4 or 5 euros you will be expected to go on a camel safari that costs from about 3000 - 5000 Rs. If you don't want to go on safari, then you will pay more for the room.

“Ba’s Hotel and Cafe”
The hotel owner Ba is really a gentleman and he will facilitate you as his family guest. You can trust him for his honesty and trustworthy. You will get everything in nominal prices especially the food, sight seeing arrangements, local visit, Desert Camel Safari etc. , We really enjoyed staying in Hotel Miraj (the Hotel is inside the Fort). Please give a try once with your family….

“Terrible ”
Bathroom was stinking like anything.. There was no hot water facility neither they provided drinking water.. No resturant facility in the hotel whereas they have mentioned on agoda site that they have all this facility.. And yes no wifi either
