“Multiple events caused seriously weird vibes”
- We waited in line for 15 mins to check in as there were only 2 staff at reception. - After check in, we entered our room to find a bottle of wine and some sweets, congratulating us on our anniversary. A staff member knocked on our door 10 mins later. I answered the door and she simply told me she'd come back later. Meanwhile, she was looking at a discarded tissue on the floor of the hallway and made no attempt to pick it up (it stayed there until the next morning). We went out for an hour and when we had come back, the wine and sweets were all gone without explanation. - We sat in the dining area for 20 mins without a waiter taking our order, despite making eye contact several times when we attempted to wave them over. It wasn't until we went up to them and asked them to come take our order that they finally did. - On our day of check out, staff attempted to enter our room an hour before check out, without knocking. Luckily the metal bar lock was in place, otherwise they would've walked in on us as they had buzzed into the room. They attempted this again, 30 mins before check out. - Overall, would not recommend. I'd expect better customer service from one of the biggest hotel chains in the world. You get better service at a smaller hotel for a fraction of the cost. The line for reception was longer than when we checked in, so we opted for the self-check out and weren't able to voice our concerns.

Hilton Berlin is situated at the heart of very nice tourist spot! Everything is walking distance from this hotel. The hotel is also spacious.

“Multiple unknown charges ”
Received multiple unknown charges from Hilton Berlin even already made advance payment for the booking via Agoda. After checking with their staff, informed this happened due to system error. Need to write in more than one time to ask for the reason and progress which is really an unpleasant and disappointed.

Room had a view, breakfast was very nice with big variety every day. Perfect location. I would come again, the SPA pool however is not big and it’s nice when no people are around.

“Nice hotel, very unaccommodating”
Solid Hilton in good location. This has reminded me why despite being a gold HH member I only ever stay once every year or two. We booked this at short notice after change of plans. Hilton hotels say ‘no’ to you more than anyone else. ‘Can I use the sauna next to the pool?’, ‘no it’s an extra charge’. ‘Can I collect HH points or use benefits?’ ‘No’. Long queue to speak to reception. A comfortable room in central location is what you pay for. Hilton could really learn something about being hospitable.

“Good deal for Berlin Hotel with Pool”
We only stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the pool and great location for sightseeing. Otherwise the Hotel was rather old and worned down, probably the reason why it was rather cheap.

Hi, The hotel didn't give daily complimentary mineral water. We didn't like the shower point and the bath tub together as water easily splashed onto the floor. Have to be caution when stepping out of the bath tub as the floor is lower than the tub. Nevertheless good stay and beds are comfortable. Thanks

“Room Air condition and room lighting issues!”
The room air conditioner is terrible, not cold at all. The whole room was very stuffy and hot! The air cons seems not working at all! Room lighting was also worse! It’s lack of ceiling lighting. I can’t even see clearly when I packed my things in the midnight! Together with stuffy room made me sweaty, I have a very bad experience with this hotel !

“Horrible Service at Hilton Berlin”
I booked Hilton Berlin for its brand name since I didn't have much time to choose on the day before I arrived. And it turned out to be the worst Hilton I've ever been to. I'm not a fussy traveller, usually give 5 stars away but I need to share my experience and do hope that there'll be anyone from the hotel can care enough to improve their service. Right after I checked in, I realised the shower temperature mixer in the bathroom didn't work and only extremely hot water came out of it. Long story short, after a few calls(they usually picked up after 5 calls), a FEW times of requests in person, it took a whole day to 'try' getting it fixed and ended up changing to another room in the middle of night. Don't trust when they say "we'll send someone right now". It will take at least an hour and someone who has no clue will knock your door. The worst part is when I asked for another room after so much frustration, one of the staff guy said "there's no room available" which was OBVIOUSLY not true. When I said "so are you asking me to just stay in this room where I can't even get a shower? Are you kidding?" and 'magically' an empty room became available in a sec. And guess what he asked me to do? He asked me to pack my luggages and bring them down to the lobby so that he can issue a card to the new room! How ridiculous! He 'magically' issued the new card on the spot after I said I'm not going to do that and you issue the card right now. Another warning: cleaners here can just open your door immediately after very soft knocking. Lucky I was dressed. Location was good. Value for money? NO

“Great location!!!”
Hotel was very clean and met the Hilton standards. Had a wonderful massage the night I arrived. Super relaxing!! Parking was easy and accessible from the lobby. Would just help to have better signage at driveway to access parking. Hotel location was within walking distance of all major sightseeing highlights. Great restaurants in the area and a very welcoming coffee shop right across the street. Concierge was helpful in booking services and giving directions. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The front desk had difficulties to find my reservation. Not pleasant. The attitude of some members of the team at the bar in the lobby is not always correct. Cafeteria style and not 5stars one. Room very nice and comfortable. Location is great in the hyper center. Good price

“Location”
It was walking distance to the Brandenburg Gates! Certainly a great location for the BMW Berlin Marathon participants. The rooms were quiet and cozy. It had a beautiful garden view. Breakfast was great with standard menus. I loved their freshly baked apple muffins. The staff's were friendly during my stay. They even arranged a late check out upon my request. I was lucky to have secured a room here just days before the BMW Berlin Marathon 2019 event to which i participated and will certainly return to this beautiful hotel someday.

2 mins walk from Stadmitte station which is a plus. Room comes with basic amenities only like shampoo and shower gel. Kettle was dirty but didn’t send a replacement despite making a request. Reasonably size room which was clean.

“Central and fairly priced hotel. ”
Big rooms, comfortable shower and friendly staff. However, the hotel seems a bit outdated in some terms of that they either require you to pay for internet (in Europe 2019) or you have to join the HH and receive complimentary access, the minibar was locked, something I realized when craving a bottle of water at nighttime and having to contact front desk to ask them for unlocking. The shower head was loose, old and wouldn’t stay at place, not a big deal, but hotel lacked the attention for small details that you’d except from a renown hotel.

“Great location, good service”
The hotel is very nicely located in front of the subway entrance and facing the famous Gendarmenmarkt and its many churches. The hotel is good, the staff is very helpful and attentive. The room was nice although the style is slightly older than what we usually experience in Asia. But it is sort of timeless and yet comfortable.

“Birthday weekend!”
We chose the Hilton Berlin as a 4 day break as a treat for my Birthday. It was excellent! The hotel was very impressive, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We booked an executive room which gives access to the executive lounge which is open all day for soft drinks, tea/coffees etc., but also, breakfast in the morning which is mainly continental, but plenty of choice and a nice quiet atmosphere. Between 6pm and 8.30pm, the lounge offers complimentary alcoholic drinks as well as some hot food and a selection of meats, cheeses, bread etc., We would definitely book the executive room again. We also booked a two day spa entrance for 19.90 euros each which again, was well worth it. Access to the Swimming pool and gym is included in the hotel price, but if you want access to the 'Spa' areas you can pay 14.90 for one day or 19.90 for two. The Spa includes a Finnish Sauna, Sauna, Steam room, Foot spa and a Separate Relaxation room with heated waterbeds! Amazing!

“Great location, disappointed you couldn't use all the spa facilities ”
Impeccable hotel in a great location for getting around Berlin. The bar area is beautiful, service was fabulous and the live piano really set the scene. Rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. A little disappointed that we could only use the swimming pool & there was an extra charge to use the steam room & sauna. Otherwise a perfect stay.

“Rooms nice & comfortable; Great location; Stay less than ideal as our two rooms were not connected”
The rooms are very nice & comfortable - likely to have been renovated recently. The location is great - just outside an U-metro station; walking distance to Friedrichstrasse, Postdamer Platz, Mall of Berlin etc. My wife and I were travelling with our two young children. We had to book two rooms. The only thing that made our stay less than ideal is that we did not get connecting rooms despite having booked almost two months in advance.

“Excellent location, older property”
The big building (expect long corridors) dates back to the GDR days and the rooms are spacious but with old school carpet etc. Perfect situation on the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt, very near the center. Good breakfast and mostly friendly staff.

Room issued when previous guests still inside, cleaning done in a rush (toilet brush was left inside the bowl) which makes us wander what else they have not cleaned for 5 stars hotel, we would expect more. Generally, it’s ok. Location wise, close to sightseeing places and easy access to transport.
