“Value for money and they are renovating ”
The rooms are a bit old for the price. They are renovating so keeping fingers crossed. The location is great with many restaurants nearby. The gym is very nice but with restricted hours.

“Average Hotel with Great Service”
Location is perfect, near the subway station & restaurants. No ref & microwave but when we requested for a microwave, they brought it up to our room. Kudos to maintenance guy named Jun for helping fix our luggage wheels.

“Average quality, very small rooms”
We got 2 rooms on the 5th floor, 1 queen bed & 2 queen beds. Rooms are too tight to move around. He bathroom was even tighter as closing the door nearly hit the water closet. No ref, no electric pot, no complimentary water. Basic toiletries like shampoo, shower gel etc had to be requested. Front desk said that toiletries will be sent to the room asap but nobody came. I had to personally request it from housekeeping. But kudos & thanks to maintenance guy named Jun. He helped fix the wheels on our luggage both times we stayed in the hotel. Exceptional service from him!

“Great for location near rogers arena”
They are doing construction so if you don't mind the noise and aren't a light sleeper. The tub was dirty so I didn't use it. Room didn't have a fridge. Just pretty much a basic room. Parking also isn't included in your stay you have to pay extra for that and it's underground in small spots. Only reason person I was with stayed here cause it was close by the concert but I wouldn't come here again.

“Affordable hotel in Vancouver close to Gas Town.”
Undergoing cosmetic renovation, but still a very convenient and affordable hotel, much closer to Gas Town area than we expected. Easy safe walking.

“Excellent staff”
Staff were very friendly and accommodating with smiles on their faces. The room was very clean but the bathroom smelled a bit musty and it lingered into the room. Great location to big events, downtown dining and local attractions. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

The room was small and smelled like an old smoking hotel. The location was ok. Close to Gastown and BC place and not far from stanley park or Granville Island.

I stayed there twice over three weeks. My last review I would not recommend it but time the room was much better. The only problems were, I could not change the aircon temperature and there was no refrigerator in the room.

Not clean. Elevator doesn't always work. Also the shower was over an old bath and the bottom of the bath is rusty. The only positive comment I have is that the bed is comfortable.

“Sandman was perfect for a Summer trip to VAN”
Sandman was the perfect location for a solo traveller. I was able to walk everywhere catch a uber, a water taxi, and public transit. The room was clean and spacious and affordable. I only wish my view was to the street or I was higher up. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. There was a mixture of guests with no noise issues but there was a window cleaner during my stay luckily my blinds were semi-closed. They warmed me from the heatwave, offered suggestions, and extra towels, held my bag the day I check out and offered access to the pool changeroom prior to my departure flight.

“Reasonably good value for money”
Stayed here for a week whilst attending a family matter in Vancouver. Room was a good size, clean, and quiet. Bathroom needed an update but plumbing was fine. Convenient for downtown. Bit of a hike to anywhere over the other side of False Creek, but OK if you're fit. For $100 a night, it was a bargain.

We stayed here as we were attending an event downtown. Good location if you’ll be within the Yaletown area. Could be cleaner. Staff allowed us to extend our check out by 30 minutes which was helpful.

I’ve stayed multiple times at this location, and I find it super dirty. It is also extremely over priced for a room with two double beds. The room was extremely hot. We couldn’t turn the AC on. We stay purely for convenience.

위치도 좋아서 걸어서 씨버스타는곳 까지갈 수 있었고, 주변에 식당도 많아서 좋았습니다. 다만 3박을 했는데 기본제공하는 물이 2병뿐이고 추가로 생수가 필요하면 자판기에서 구매해야하는점이 아쉬웠습니다.

Wegen Renovation momentan nicht empfehlenswert. Sehr lärmig wenn man im Zimmer ist während dem Tag. Preis Verhältnis stimmt nicht mehr. Man müsste eine Teilentschädigung erhalten.

Great spot downtown for attending concerts and events just mere minutes walking . Moxies and shark club in hotel . Reno’s going on and does need a good refresh . First sandman I seen that doesn’t provide a fridge in the room . Tad disappointing as there’s tons of room to slot one in . Overall a tad pricey for what you get and shouldn’t charge the prices they do . I would come back for sure if a deal ever came about .

“Convenient and affordable”
Accommodating staff and clean rooms. I wish there was a more convenient parking.
