“Emphasis is on guest enjoyment in an authentic rainforest setting ”
The weather was very wet but the staff were nothing but sunshine. Lovely setting. Well situated. Unlike the resort we just left where the emphasis was on extracting as many dollars as they could, Ecolodge staff were out to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were all very friendly, professional and very obliging. Despite the weather we had a great stay. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

“Old facility and run down looking . Not well kept up.”
In room shower temperature not controllable, AC did not work. Pool not maintained, dirty. Overall property not maintained. Location beautiful and could be an exceptional lodge. Dining room service was slow and food quality was not consistent.

“A wonderful hotel to connect with nature!”
My husband and I stayed at the Daintree Ecolodge while visiting Australia on our honeymoon. The property is so beautiful and you feel completely immersed in the rainforest. Every single staff member we met was incredibly friendly and helpful, getting to know us and how we were enjoying our stay. We booked a Canopy Bayan and it was beautiful - clean and cozy with great amenities and an awesome outdoor deck to enjoy the sounds of the rainforest. We enjoyed walking around the property and the trail to the waterfall. The chef at the Julaymba Restaurant is so talented - we ate there every night and had such a memorable experience trying new foods that were local to the area. We highly recommend staying at the Daintree Ecolodge and hope to stay here again ourselves in the future!

“Gorgeous tropical retreat ”
Devine rainforest relaxation, delicious local hamper on arrival and breakfast was gorgeous. Waterfall and lagoon just stunning . Will return! Loved the yoga by the pool.

“A second honeymoon ”
We booked the resort as a second honeymoon the position is beautiful the rooms were just lovely and newly renovated just gorgeous in the rain too. The restaurant was quirky but the food was lovely and local and just what we wanted. The pool area was very disappointing and needs some attention and love. The entire resort has such potential however the staff were wonderful and obviously love what they do a real asset to the place

“Absolutely relaxing and beautiful forrest”
We were lucky to have stayed when it was raining. The highlight for me was listening to the different animals at night, especially the call of the Cassowary.

“Nice and modern bayan for relax in the rainforest ”
I really enjoyed our night here we chose the middle priced banyan after reading the cheapest was a little outdated. It was beautiful there were some ants on the wall but what can you expect in the rainforest. The food in the resteraunt was amazing it was expensive but definitely worth it as a one time treat. The spa treatment was heavenly but I thought the bathroom in the spa could do with a facelift. I would definitely recommend staying here but I’d go for at least the middle option of banyan if you want to get your moneys worth.

“ Beautiful setting - wonderful staff”
Beautiful canopy room, loved the small touches - homemade biscutes, handcut soap, daintree tea. Enjoyed sleeping with the room opened up to the rainforest. Loved the restaurant and grounds, and had a nice spa treatment with lovely oils. Only small gripe was the pool amd spa area is dated. And the swimming hole was just a hole, in pretty settings and crisp clear water but something for a plunge in not a swim.

The restaurant waiter in the evening was a supercilious and arrogant man the meal was terrible - frozen fish and tough duck ! In contrast, the young breakfast staff were lovely and Nat at reception was gracious, extremely helpful and her hospitality was excellent.

“A beautiful way to view the rain forest ”
We thought it was absolutely COOL to hear the sounds of the rainforest , to watch the butterflies and marvel at the flora... from the safety of our strongly screened patio! Thank you for existing!

“Genuine staff make this beautiful lodge the perfect holiday location!”
Love love love this beautifully appointed lodge. The photos are all true! Sweet canopy bayan abutting right into crisp green rainforest. The sounds! The smells! The feels! Our needs and privacy were cared for by the impeccable staff. Generous and tasty hamper delivered to our room on arrival. Explanations and assistance never an issue. Genuine caring staff. Dinner = amazing food and service. And oh the atmosphere! We were so proud of our choice. We loved our stay. 10/10

“Beautiful setting but a bit expensive for what you get3 ”
The canopy room was nicely renovated and had a great view into the rainforest. It was nice to hear the nature around you at night. The hotel itself could improve its amenities as the pool and lobby area were a bit dated. Overall the place is nice but a bit too expensive for what you are getting.

“Stunning”
We stayed 2 nights in a canopy room and if you're a nature lover, this is a must do. The room was a good size and very comfortable. There is no wifi or TV but why would you need these in a place like this where you have the rainforest all around you? Windows on all sides with flyscreens so you can have them open allowing the smells and sounds into the room. The terrace was equipped with flyscreens too so you can just have the doors open at all times. This for us was the best way to relax and unwind. The restaurant was stunning. The chef has put together a truly remarkable menu and delivered tasty dishes you would come to expect from a quality Melbourne restaurant. Being only a couple mins drive to the Daintree town, the location is good, but what is best about this its position is the forest. Take yourself for a walk around the grounds and up to the waterfall, just take your bug spray with you. The only downside was the treatments we got in the spa. They were not value for money.

“A Bucket List Must!”
This venue is situated in an incredibly serene and one-of-a-kind location in the Daintree Rainforest. It is beyond picturesque. We stayed in a lovely and well appointed Canopy tree house with our teenage daughter. She appreciated the lodge and fine dining. But I would not waste your money on taking younger children to this place. In truth it is a couples retreat, and would be amazing for a romantic getaway. Sadly, the swimming hole was not full enough when we visited. So we had to make do with the pool which is ok, but not of a resort-standard. This place in the tropics, and it is HOT! the humidity is palpable and you will sigh with relief each time you step back into your air conditioned tree house. The bed was sublime, the balcony overlooking the trees was stunning and the bathroom clean and modern. However, the stand out was the food served in the dining room. The small menu is pricy but everything is extremely good. Breakfast is included and also very good.

“Nice stay in a canopy room”
Rooms are wonderful, staff were helpful and the restaurant food was excellent, they even cooked a barramundi for us that we had caught that afternoon. Recommended

“Amazingggggg location, great food”
The food in the restaurant was really great. The staffs are nice. However during our stay our neighbors are quite loud, and it is hard to fall asleep at night. They should do more of the soundproof wall or balcony. That would really help

“A very relaxing stay”
The staff are really friendly and helpful. The lounge/ reception area has lots of brochures and guides on what to do around the area . There is wifi in the lounge area but it is limited in the rooms, that was fine was us. The rooms are really clean, modern wooden floor boards, big bed, very spacious and comfortable. Mossie nets for all the windows so you can open them all up if you just want to hear the sounds of the rainforest. Had all the facilities we needed ( hair dryer, coffee, tea , BT speakers, shower products) . There is no TV in the room by the way but that was fine for us as we wanted to go there to unwind and relax. There is also a balcony area separate to the room where you can sit and read books or just listen to the outdoor rainforest with the insects and birds chirping. Really Zen! The dinner there is lovely, decently priced and very delicious. Just make sure you have bug spray for all the mossies and insects. Parking is also availabe.. Highly recommend!!!

The location and attention to detail wether it was for the food or the spa or a general enquiry was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of their hospitality and a smile no matter how far away you were from a staff member

“Nice rooms and amazing food”
The food we had at the restaurant was some of the best food we have ever had (we travel a lot and eat out at some very nice restaurants all the time). We had a renovated room and it was great. The staff was very personable and attentive to our needs.

bathroom vanities are bit worn out and should be replaced as damaged by mold and moisture of the air....for the price is charged per night. Beautiful spa treatments though some stock was not available to buy on the spot.

“A great place to unwind”
We had a wonderful three-day stay at the Daintree Ecolodge. The staff members were very knowledgeable and helpful. The resort itself in the middle of the Daintree National Forest is magical.

“A night in Paradise”
Service, food, beautiful roomIt was a beautiful location, very peaceful, great room with spa bath. Loved the Daintree Naturals Products for use in the room. The front desk service was amazing....and they were extremely helpful. Would totally recommend.

“Tranquility, relaxation and surrounded by nature”
Food, Spa and relaxationThe Daintree Eco Lodge staff made us feel so very welcome by their relaxed attitudes but also their professionalism. The food was spectacular and was very consistent every time we ate. The tranquility and unfiltered surroundings of the nature was something that really was second to none. If you are looking for all of this and more, look no further than Daintree Eco Lodge. Will definitely return.

“Very nice situation, more rustic than the 5 stars.”
location, location, locationVery nice staff, not very well versed in recommending activities. The location is amazing yet the restaurant is very much over priced considering the fact that the rates are already elevated.

“Idyllische Unterkunft im Regenwald ”
Sehr schön angelegte Hotelanlage. Wir wurden ausgesprochen freundlich begrüßt und herumgeführt. Zum Glück sind die Bungalows mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet, schade fand ich aber, dass es in den Bungalows kein wlan gab, sondern nur im Restaurant. Einen Fernseher gab es im Bungalow auch nicht. Das gebuchte Dinner war lecker, aber teuer. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker, allerdings auch sehr übersichtlich, wirklich satt wurde ich nicht. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, die jedoch zum regulären Preis deutlich überteuert ist.

“Fantastiskt i djungeln”
Vi uppgraderade oss på plats till Rainforest Conyon, väl värt. Helt nya fräsha rum med AC och mosqitofria uteplatser. Myggnät mot regnskogen. Riktig lyx med blåtandshögtalare och badkar utomhus på balkongen. Dessa bungalows ligger på markplan, men mer privata. Allt är bra med stället och även om du inte har wifi el tv på rummet så finns det i stora sällskapsrummet. Wifi räckte tom att se Aik köra över Dalkurd i premiären. Satt själv uppe natten och streama till regnskogens alla djur. Maten är mycket bra, hatten av till kocken som lagt in fusiontankar i vällkomponerade rätter. Den yngre delen av personalen är fantastisk. Åk hit, ta med bok och njut. Två nätter behövs iaf.

“beautiful location amongst the trees and waterfall”
We loved this serene eco lodge amongst the rainforest... would definitely recommend and wished we were able to stay a little longer. The interesting good quality food was also a treat...
