This was my second time in this hotel. It's very convenient for me as it's close to the place where I work. It has an Aldi directly opposite, a bus stop close by, and is 10-15 minutes taxi from Tegel. The rooms are quite large, if a little dated in their design. The worst thing about the hotel, though, is the "free wifi". Although I like using this hotel, I do think it's a bit misleading that they claim to have "free wifi". The wifi they provide for free barely works, it's constantly disconnecting, and is incredibly slow. If a person needed to use it for something urgent or important, it simply wouldn't be satisfactory. The last time I was there, they offered an alternative that cost 6€ per day, and if a person really needed wifi, then this is what they'd have to use. I think the hotel should rethink their wifi policy - either make it clear that a person needs to pay for it, or provide the better service and increase the daily rate. What they're doing now is just misleading.

On arrival I discovered that what I requested in the Agoda request box was TOTALLY ignored and I wasn’t informed. This made a huge difference for me as I couldn’t stay there the first night but the next day it was rectified. I still had to pay for first night!

This hotel has some great points, and some not so great points, and most of these depend on what you are looking for. Room size was very large, and the room itself was nicely furnished, with a fairly comfortable bed. It's not a great hotel for hot weather, the rooms have a tendency to get very hot. The staff were OK - they answered questions, but there was a lot of variation in the interest they displayed, from enthusiastic to disinterested, it depend on which staff member you got. Location is difficult to comment on - for me, it was 5 minutes from work, and had plenty of good places to eat within 5-10 minutes walk, plus there's an Aldi across the road for buying water, fruit and that sort of thing. However, the hotel is not close to the centre of Berlin, so may not suit everybody.

Great value for money. A very decent room, although no AC nor fridge. Good location for Tegel Airport. Great Turkish and Middle East restaurants nearby. I truly recommend.

“6th floor”
I don’t want to leave negative review for the whole hotel, but my room on the 6th floor was not acceptable First, when I walked in thought - wow, cute and modern ... but, Internet on the last floor was not acceptable (I had to work that day) and when I went downstairs got upgraded hotspot but it also was super weak. Second problem, room was super cold (my stay was in January) and there was no thermostat. I adjusted the temperature on the ‘heaters’ but it took until the morning to bring temp up. So, half of the night I was freezing near the room doors (only place with reachable internet). Slept under 2 covers (thanks god, I was the only traveler in 2 people bed, had 2 covers). Also beds - not sure if old, but super uncomfortable, felt like many many people slept on it (soft beds). So, booking budget hotel near the airport cost me sleepless night in the cold room and not being able to work remotely (Internet).
