I booked this hotel because it was near my girlfriend's friend's place. I wasn't expecting much. I only wanted it to be clean so I could rest well. But the room, the linens smelled cigarette to which I was sensitive with. Travelling is already stressful for me but this added to my stress. I couldn't sleep well for two nights. And the restroom smelled awful. The place is quite old. But that wasn't my problem. I wish they could at least clean it well. I have to note though that the staff were very accommodating. It seemed like a family-owned business. The guy was especially very helpful in guiding us when we were booking grab rides.

“The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in after 3 years of traveling Asia.”
I hardly know where to start but I am a long term traveler who has always stayed in budget hotels and hostels for the past 3 years, this one was definitely one of the worst I ever stayed at. The receptionist with one arm was extremely rude he basically interrogated me for over 15 minutes when I was trying to check in. I don't expect the room to be modern or stylish all I simply need is clean(ish) sheets and a shower and I am happy. However the sheets were the dirtiest sheets I have ever seen or smelled in my life! They had not been changed in over a year if I had to guess. When I told them I need clean sheets they seemed to think that was redicules and couldn't understand why that was necessary. Even after the sheets had been changed the smell of body odder remained so strong that I really struggled to sleep. Besides that the bathroom had not been touched since the last person so used soap etc was still present. It is really hard to describe how awful this place was!
