Stayed there for 4 days 3 nights and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. We had booked 2 nights initially and added an extra night because we decided to go to Hanoi a day early, but I didn’t know it was a different room. The staff were kind enough to allow us to stay in the same room (it was bigger!) throughout our whole trip and even provided tips and a map of Hanoi. The hotel is in the heart of the Old Quarter and is so close to all the important stops, but with that being said, do expect it to get a little noisy in the evening because of parties outside — but this is something not controlled by the hotel so they aren’t to blame. I’d highly suggest this place to stay and will definitely stay here when I visit Hanoi again.

Basic rooms But Great location. Near cafes and restaurants, plus the Sapa Express bus station. So it's very easy to catch the bus to Sapa. The staff doesn't speak good English but they are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the hotel on our day of arrival and on our day of departure Both night the airconditioning system is not good. But beside that everything is ok, service is good, excellent location.

Location is in middle of city, near a lake and water puppet show. You can walk around the city easy for you when you stay at hanoi. Hotel staff is very friendly but breakfast is not to much.

Stayed here multiple times throughout my travels in Vietnam. I arrived in Hanoi and stayed at the Hanoi A1 for 2 nights then I left for Ha Long Bay for 2 night and back to the A1 for another night then to Sa Pa for 4 nights and then back to the A1 for another 2 nights. There were very accommodating in looking after my baggage while I was in other areas so I could just take a smaller bag with me. Awesome location close to the lake and markets ! The staff were lovely and rooms the perfect size! Will definitely back next time I visit.

Basic rooms, but give you everything you need ... plus a fantastic location and great value for money! Miss the provided breakfast and eat outside. Staff are friendly, but hit and miss. Depending on who you ask, you get a different response. The lady receptionist is more efficient by far. Do Not Disturb was posted on my door ... but the cleaning staff still entered the room.

It was the second time staying there.. Booked 4 rooms through agoda. when I got there they only had 2.. they wanted me to cancel my booking though agoda. and re book with them.. they said they would upgrade 2 rooms to a family room. but there will be an extra charge... to me.. that is not an upgrade. after over an hour of waiting for the manager to call back.. I booked another hotel 500 Metre away and when there. its fantastic.

Hot water and aircon didn’t work
Dear Quentin, Firstly, we would like to thank for your stay and feedback. We are so sorry to know that you had a not good experience during your stay at our hotel. We had a urgent meeting for the problem concerning in your review. We were reported that our staff came and checked but it worked. There was not any error. Our receptionist even offered you a free upgrading to higher room class with balcony if you did not like the room but you said no need. We think there may be an mis-understanding.
