The Hamilton House Inn was a pleasant change from the corporate and standardized hotels we'd been staying at on our cross country drive. The inn is comfortable and clean, but in addition has lots of character and charm. There's a nice sitting room, along with a balcony in front and a veranda in back, where guests can enjoy a glass of wine. Tonya, the owner, is friendly without being intrusive, and makes a wonderful and generous breakfast. We plan to stay at Hamilton House any time we are again in Monroe.

Our family in town for only one day and chose the Hamilton House for it's location and charm. So glad we did! Wish we could have stayed at least one more night. The owners have spent years lovingly restoring the place. It is updated, but retains the charm of an older B&B (except the kitchen which is quite spacious and more modern). The breakfast, which was made fresh right in front of us, was delicious! We would stay again.

This place is awesome. The lady that runs it is so nice and cooks an amazing breakfast. Everything is clean and nice. Located right in Antique Alley within walking distance of almost everything.

My 15 yr old and I headed to Mo roe doe a campus visit and were looking for character in the city and boy did we find it!! This place was way cool and so easy going. No hassle check in and check out. Located in Antique Ally that has boutiques, antiques and near by restaurants and bar. Beautiful establishment and owner made us the best breakfast! Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be staying there again of ever in town.
