The room was so unbearably loud that we left and found another place to stay. It is located on a busy road with tractor trailers driving by which makes the room rumble every time one drives by. We never heard back from anyone at the inn and never got any sort of refund. Cute building would be much better if it were converted to a restaurant

“No water”
Everything else was excellent, but since this is the third time in five years that we have experienced this we will never go back: there is no water pressure AND the water shuts off mid shower. First two visits they told us they were fixing it. We believed them. It is not temporary. It is the way the building is. They tell guests that it is too many showering at once. This is not true. Shower starts as a trickle. You soap up and it shuts completely down. We went with another couple and it took forever to get the day started. I took my shower at 5am and it was no better than at 8am even though no one else was even awake. Day 3 we all skipped in order to get started at a reasonable hour. My friend went to the store and bought bottled water so she would be able to wash her hair without worry about getting stuck with soapy hair. If you like to bathe, avoid Elmrock. They have no intention of fixing this and for the price they charge, they should not be allowed to continue to rent rooms. It’s a real shame. The other wonderful things they do don’t matter when there is no reliable water.
