when we first arrived we were greeted by a rude desk attendant, we let it slide thinking the guy had a bad day going. Got to the room was impressed with the layout of the room and bath room. Went to shower couldn't adjust the water temp to remain steady. Next we tried to use the pool and the hot tub, pool was filthy and the skimmer was off. Mold was growing on the walls of the pool. The hot tub when you got in smelled like nasty feet. We checked in on a Sat left on Tues the pool never got cleaned nor was the skimmer ever ran. On Mon afternoon the hot tub had water added but still stank. Now back to our room, The walls are so thin that you could here what was going on next door, we had a loud snorer next door. you could hear people walking on the floor above us, we had a midnight dancer above us. Housekeeping was so short staffed that they tried to skip our room, no clean towels and t.p. until we complained. Very disappointed, no justification at all for this.

The hotel was clean and new, not run down. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the complementary breakfast. We would stay here again if coming to Saratoga Springs

Overall standards were what we would expect from a normal Best Western ( we have been members of the Gold Crown Club for many years). What shocked us was the price! The extraordinary price of $435 (incl tax) for one night was no doubt set because of demand during racing season, but was totally inappropriate for the services offered. Best Western should be ashamed for abusing customers in this way.

We were in Saratoga Springs for a concert. The hotel was right around the corner from where we parked at the State Park (5 minutes to get back to the hotel after the concert)! The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, decent breakfast, and comfortable beds.

Cold water and black hair in the towels and sheets. Told reception but they did not appear concerned
