approx 30mins uber ride from SFO airport. hotel concierge/porter staffs is proactive and friendly. except a indian guy, we’re here for honeymoon so we wanted a quieter room, the guy gave us a room near the elevator which is so loud when the elevator door closes. we were awake at 5-6am everyday. hotel is easy to spot, walkable to chinatown and everywhere else. near shopping area, union square. must go to marshall and ross for shopping. the walls of the room are bricks, no painting or painted wall. you can see the steel structure of the building as part of it in the room. i feel a little unsafe. room is clean and tidy. the weather is cooling so there’s *no aircon a/c* in the room. there’s a ceiling fan and a warmer. a 3star hotel

Nice quiet hotel. Very quaint in downtown SF. Close to bus line, within 30 minute walk from bay. IF you come in the summer time there is no air conditioning, but it was cool here this week, so not a problem

This hotel was THE ONLY one when booking our trip that was value for money, great location and with some style! Room was great! We didn't have a view BUT this was actually an advantage as the room stayed cool and was less noisy from the street! Bathroom was amazing for a standard room! Room cleaned everyday if needed! Staff are super friendly! We walked pretty much everywhere from hotel (or ubered when i heels haha) ... just one thing to note the breakfast is 'grab and go' style so is just coffee, fruit and pastries (good coffee tho) so dont expect to much with that! but still worth every penny!

location is great, short walk to union square. a little glitch at check in as they gave us a wrong room type. Unfortunately, we were there went temperatures went to 100 deg F (almost 40degC), and room was very uncomfortable as there is only heating and a ceiling fan. The windows cannot open as well (think its broken). A couple of the light bulbs are out too. Else, everything is OK. Lobby looks clean and new. Staff are generally friendly.

“Excellent hotel and great service! ”
After travelling for a while, I was delighted to get a room at the The Mystic. It was just what my sore body was in need of. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless. The breakfast in the morning was also outstanding. Great location in downtown San Francisco and would stay here again for sure.
