It looks nice but it's very unsanitary I noticed all the mattresses in the garbage now I fear I might have bedbugs and I had no toilet seat

This place is old, run down, needs up dates, no coffee in rooms, one set of towels per room (not guests), and smells. Do yourself a favor pick a different hotel.!!!!'

“Hotel from Hell”
I have never seen dirty more unsafe hotel than the Econ Lodge in Reading PA. The smell of cleaning fluids was so over powering that my eyes were watering, Entering the room I found the smoke/fire detector was missing and the bare wires taped up with electrical tape. The Bathroom had no toilet paper dispenser (missing) The room security lock had been forced open so many times that it was just hanging by one loose screw. All the older holes were torn and no longer functional. The window was open when I arrived and when I tried to close it it almost fell out. I was going to check for bed bugs but this was place was such a complete horror to me I could not get out of there fast enough. I asked for my money back and I was told they would refund my second night but not the first because I was in the room. I reported the fire violations to the local fire dept. Warning this place is not someplace you want to put your head down for the night.
