Did not know what to expect for the price as the rates are about 1/2 of other motels in the area. The owner a really nice man from India he bought a older motel on PCH which is a great location a couple of blocks from the beach. He remodeled so it is what I call a boutique motel a taste of the 50's but new and clean. everything is new and clean but simple. You get a bar of soap, upscale soft fresh towels, but bring shampoo, hair dryer, ect. He does not allow smoking in the rooms, he makes a point of that when you check in and also asks if you are a drinker. Has an ash tray right outside for smokers on top of air-con for every room. Beds were nice and were very clean smelling. Bathroom simple and very important to me no mold in shower not a speck. My wife liked the place she likes clean and she said it was OK not a Best Western but if you are looking for a great value in this area and do not care about all the extra stuff this is a good value. The thing I will never forget about this one night stand is when we were leaving I noticed him cleaning a room to make sure it meet his standards. So we need to support a private operator that is offering great no frills value to compete with the big boys. Also right next door is a shopping center with a Subway and a Dominos pizza and across the street a French restaurant. Cheesecake Factory is 5 minutes away (put in your GPS) and has a happy hour 4-6 with a cheap menu in the bar for food and water and marina view.

“Clean and quiet”
Unfortunately, when compared to other world class cities, Los Angeles falls short of providing good choices for hotels/motels in this price range. You must lower expectations of amenities you'd have almost anywhere else. This property sets itself apart by providing a very clean room with good plumbing and excellent satellite TV/ Wi-Fi system. For a short stay, it serves it's purpose well.
