フレンドリーなスタッフ、驚くべき景色、そして素晴らしい部屋の雰囲気が、私と夫にとって完璧な滞在を作り出しました。AVEO Table + barでのラテン料理は驚きで、私のお気に入りのレストランとなりました。次の休暇のために戻ります。

We didn't know that the resort was transitioning to join Waldorf, so when we drove in, our expectations increased. We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful, from the valet attendants, reception, staff encountered randomly in the hallway and to room service. There are extra charges to be aware of: valet parking and facility fee. The facility is very attractive in daytime, but at night, it looks beautiful with small fireplaces on public balconies. We didn't have a 1st floor unit, but those even have their own fireplaces on their patio. The tram service to the beach was prompt and a short ride. We walked it once as well which is not hard. We had a fine experience, and I think it's ready to maintain Waldorf's reputation.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this resort. Such a beautiful place unfortunately few nagging issues that were communicated with the staff about and got never resolved. The restaurants servers were extremely slow and unobservant. They didn’t care. We hosted pre and post wedding parties at the hotel and food was ok but service was terrible. It was embarrassing to my husband and I as hosts. Also my husband complained a couple of times about a woman smoking on her balcony next to ours which made it impossible to even open up the door to air out the room! The staff did nothing about it! He took pictures of the woman smoking. But the front desk still showed no concern although this is against their policy. My older mother was staying in another room and while we were out fire alarm went out and we were away but she was aware of the smoker and we fell into a panic she burned the hotel down. Fortunately it was something mechanical but the stress she and we got put through leaving the hotel in a hurry. In the end this experience was not what we pictured for a 5 star resort, sorry to say!

Service is horrible. Our group encountered only 3 nice employees. Rooms were dirty there was dried vomit on one of the bed skirts. Beach access is not a hop skip and a jump you will have to take a trolley down to the beach which the wait times are about 30-40 mins long. The hotel was at MAXIMUM capacity during COVID and the hotel would not share the capacity amount. Hotel room walls are paper thin I could hear neighbors snoring thru the wall. One of my pillows smelled like mold. Shower and bathroom sinks smelled like sewer. Their hospitality is a negative 100%. However I do have to mention they credited me $250 for the vomit on the bed skirt. I would not go back if they offered me the best room they have for free and all expenses paid.

One of my favorite places to visit. My warning: be careful with dinner reservation especially with Monarch Beach Club Restaurant by the Ocean. Due to Covid-19, their system overbooks. My wife and I was almost left without celebrating her birthday. At the end, the manager Nick, was really great and helped to make sure we get the table.

We had a small business meeting/worksession over 2 days and this was the perfect spot. The conference room had everything we needed and the staff went above and beyond for us. The rooms we stayed in were also excellent...as was the view!

Set on a beautiful property with amenities plus including a stunning pool and spa, exceptional 18 hole golf course should you choose and trolley service to the beach and back... it just doesn’t get any better for a resort style holiday!

Have stayed at the resort 5 times when it was St. Regis. Definitely a different experience this time. Check in was very long and arduous. Pool Menu limited and pricey. The spa pricing is steep and they charge a $5.00 fee on top of automatically adding 20% gratuity.. Just seems like a money grab at every turn. If the service and facility supported this, it would be worth it but this is more of a 4 star resort. Won’t go back.

Beautiful property but you are isolated and need to drive to visit anywhere else. They take advantage of this by charging ridiculous prices for simple things... bottle of water in room $10. Beer at bar $12. Breakfast sandwich to go from coffee shop $12. Hamburger $27. The beach is a 15 minute walk but there is no way to actually walk to the beach club. They make you take a tram that often is so busy you need to wait 30 minutes for your turn as it is shared with all residents in the community. Beach club restaurant takes way too long to get food and actual beach is beautiful but it has steep waves that break right on shore which is not safe for smaller kids. The kids menu was actually very good and Appreciated and much of the staff were very good and well trained.

My stay at the Monarch Beach Resort was amongst the best I have ever had. The facilities were top notch and the little details included in the room and at turn down was really great. All of the staff we encountered was exceptional and super polite. Would definitely stay here again.

The start of our holiday was arriving at this grand and imposing hotel. It really has that wow factor which is exactly what most guests are after. The staff are beyond polite and give you the true 5* treatment...scrape the surface with any of them and they all have genuine personality as well, which adds to feeling relaxed. The pools are great, especially with young children. The only negative is the price you get this hotel needs to have $120 on top. Parking is $50 a day, and the cheapest way to wake up is to grab 2 coffees and 4 pastries which will set you back $70. Drinks at the pool were about $20 each also. It's a shame really as we would have happily spent more money. But the prices were so high it just made us go elsewhere and spend money in town instead. Overall though we loved it and wished we'd stayed longer. The rest of South California is a bit of a let down in comparison...

Spectacular experience. Beautiful Main and Family Pools + 2 Hot tubs. Short shuttle to the beach club for approximate 4 mile beach walk or provided chairs/towels/umbrellas (Beach Club restaurant to reopen soon after refurbishment). Pristine Golf Course for walking or playing -- with casual, outdoor breakfast/lunch restaurant. Phenomenal dining on-property from casual to 5 star. Resort respects casual attire, highly hospitable, serves Sunset Toasts on balcony, encourages family games on the lawn. Co-located Miravel Spa and Athletics Club offer full breadth of beautifully delivered services.
