I had to stay twice within two weeks. The first time was flawless. Clean room, quiet night, functioning facilities. The second time there were noisy (drunk) people, my door did not lock. I called to let the manager know who came up and fixed it right away (even though it was 9 pm ). It was noisy and I was resting, but he drilled on the lock and fixed it. I would recommend this place although the first time I paid $89 and a week later $120 for the room that did not function well. Manager is good.

Just needed a place to stay for one night, close to San Francisco as I had to be at the airport early the next morning. This was perfect and so much cheaper than staying anywhere in San Francisco. Room was huge and clean, coffee maker was in the room as well as fridge and microwave. Staff was very friendly.

This motel is a great option if you need to be in close proximity to Oakland. The motels in Oakland are pretty bad and not very safe at all. This place is freeway accessible and the rooms are clean. The Asian gentleman who checked me in was expeditious and professional...however, prior to check-in I arrived and had a couple of questions regarding the location of my room. The fat-assed bozo behind the desk was abrupt and rude...therefore...the downgrade.

The place was clean outside and the parking lot was well lit. The room was clean and the environment was comfortable. The manager was nice and helpful. Nice Stay.

The room had a very weird smell, like a mixture of smoke and cleaning supplies (we stayed in a nonsmoking room). The staff there isn’t the friendliest either. When we asked for clean towels from housekeeping, they told us they didn’t have anymore clean towels (wow). The AC was very loud, but one good thing is that the bed was comfortable. Can’t expect full sound proof from any place, so expect the unexpected with other tenants if you’re on the first floor.

The Inn is a basic motel in what seems to be a good area. It was very convenient for us. The room was adequate, firm basic mattress, mediocre to poor pillows. The room did have a mini fridge and microwave as well as a coffee maker. The breakfast consists of coffee, tea, and Svenhards individually wrapped danishes. They are good but I don't consider them breakfast.

Stayed here several times and Les has always been very helpful. The rooms a very clean and close ro shops. I would recommend this as a place to stay.

It’s old and dingy and the walls are so thin. Heard every conversation from the family next door. Everything about the room is dated and it feels like the place hasn’t been remodeled, ever. Carpet was gross and the pillowcases were a little discolored. Very uncomfortable

I wasn't able to check in til early morning, after midnight. The check in was quick and got to room with ease. This is an older hotel, but was clean and had everything that I needed. My only wish was that they had a bottle of water in the room as there is nothing in the lobby to accomodate a thirsty visitor. The bed wasn't the best, but the room was quiet considering the hotel was full. I was allowed to check out an hour later as I had checked in so late. I appreciated that curtesy. It helped to get resettled and continue my journey. For the price, I would stay here again.

Nice & clean. Stayed twice. Don't confuse this hotel, the Castro Valley Inn (3954 E Castro Valley Blvd), with its IDENTICAL LOOKING next-door neighbour 150 FEET TO THE WEST, the Econo Lodge by Choice Hotels (3928 E Castro Valley Blvd). They were begun as a single project but later completed under separate owership.
