Family room was spacious but not so clean in terms of dust and carpet stains. Bathroom very big. Beds comfortable enough. The big issue is the noise from the bar which is super loud until 2am with music and karaoke. So unless you stay up until 2am this will not work for you.

Gavin manager was so polite and friendly. We asked his advice on where was the best places we could go around York, The rooms were nice and clean I would definitely recommend this place to stay, the location is perfect very close to anything

I had booked this guest house for 21.09.24 one night single room. I came to reception and got the keys then asked for the parking a member of staff shown me the parking space and asked to park anywhere so did I. I had also confirmed after the booking that it had free parking facilities. However, in october I received two tickets for 20th and 21st of september each 155GBP SHOCKING !! Since 24th of november I have been trying to get in touch with this place but no way !! Contacted to Agoda maybe 15 times and each and every time explained the issue from scratch today is 20th of february and still no solution. ALL guest house needed to do was to contact to ticket issuer and getting them removed by explaining that I was hotel guest. Agoda also tried but they never helped for this. They dont have any phone number or email etc. I found them on facebook and written on messenger- that time they said they are new management and never heard of the name of AGODA. It is a place to avoid. Also my advise to AGODA is : DO NOT WORK WITH THIS PLACE EVER !!!
