          “Primrose cottage”

          Clean, pleasant, homely accommodation. made to feel very welcome, the breakfast was way and beyond the expectations of the norms that we have come to expect on our travels

          “最高!”

          Very nice cottage with friendly host and great breakfasts. Good base for exploring NE Norfolk. Cosy room, comfy bed. We had the room without ensuite but very smart bathroom (sole use) right next door.

          “Wonderful host”

          Karen, our host was wonderful. She was welcoming, helpful and we really enjoyed our two day stay at Primrose Cottage. The bedroom was clean, had the most comfortable Superking bed, had a fully stocked tea tray with biscuits, bottled water and also fresh fruit. There were dressing gowns provided and a full array of shampoo, body wash and cream in the bathroom, along with a great selection of bath sized towels, hand towels and even flannels. There was a large walk in shower with both a rain shower and a hand held shower head for those that don’t want to get their hair wet. The Cottage is located in a very quiet lane, overlooking fields. Although we didn’t use it, there was a lovely guest lounge on the ground floor and next to this there is the breakfast room. Due to COVID, guests are asked not to mix at breakfast time, so we chose a time that did not clash with the guests from the other room. There are just two letting rooms. As for the breakfast, it was one of the best selections we have ever been offered, including breakfasts in large hotels. There was so much to choose from that it would take the up too much time to describe! The hot selection was cooked to perfection. We had travelled to Norfolk to pick up two rescue dogs from a foster home just a few miles from Primrose Cottage. On the day we left, we had to collect the dogs from the foster home by eight o’clock, so that we could start our journey back to Cornwall. We asked Karen, whether it would be possible to have our breakfast at 07.30 ( in fact we were eating by 07.20). Karen told us that it wouldn’t be a problem and that we were her guests. We have no hesitation in recommending Primrose Cottage and that of Karen as a host. We would return in a heartbeat.

          “Primrose Cottage....12 out of 10”

          My wife and I have a lovely stay at Primrose Cottage. I can not rate it highly enough. A beautiful old cottage renovated exceptionally well. The room and breakfast was first class.
