I had booked the hotel one month ago fully paid. Only the date of check in the hotel staff says they have no booking in my name.

Room, bathroom, and bed was incredibly unclean, messy, and just plan dirty. Check in staff was rude and requested to not only see my passport but see when I came into the UK and when stamped and I had to make a point that heathrow was electronically and didn’t stamp. Also the free wi fi is very misleading since it’s only free for 20 minutes and then you must pay 7 GBP!

Old, not clean, no free WiFi in room, no shampoo or gel, no baked tomato in breakfast! Furthermore, the accommodation costs were not cheap at this level.

Very basic but clean room. Bed wasn't that comfortable and the pillows were very thin. But overall it was fine and didn't expect too much for the price if I'm honest. Perfect for a cheap one night stay, very central location, convenient for bus stops and train stations too.

The hotel's room & facilities bring you back to the 1970s. Because of the cricket match all hotels were fully booked but this one. I now understand why:)

I had my photo I.D which I was told I would need to check in but what I weren't told was that my partner would also need his so we were refused a room. Considering all hotels were booked up it's safe to say this ruined our weekend. The hotel was grubby and not inviting at all so maybe we were saved a night of sleeping in a grimy room but the lack of communication left us stranded without a room

I booked and paid for a twin room and when we got there it was a double bed. Because it was my friend and my son they went to reception and was then given a small mattress to sleep on the floor, which wasn’t really acceptable. They were told when they arrived that they were lucky as the hotel was going to sell that room as it was the last one. Won’t go back there. The bath was also a bit grim

Not as advertised. Generally grubby. Over familiar staff. Everyone treated as suspicious. Upper floors used to house emergency council residents so some colorful characters in the lifts Had to change rooms because of smoking essence. Scum in the bath. Hairs in the bath. Dodgy lifts. Great location. Best thing about the hotel was leaving....

远离图像误导上当-3星！霉味脏渍毛毯临街吵闹至凌晨.Mislead by advertised frankly is from Robin Hood old Moldy era still serve as Int’l chained hotel?? First into the room with mold smell. Phone and controller of room temperature are just a deaf’s ear-doesn’t work. Blanket stained, Bathtub with stains hair etc. Only working socket is at corner of floor for hoovers. Desk table is clearly suffered historical 8t-degree-burnt! The maintenance is due since Robinhood time. Requested quiet room but left with this one of loud street noice and late night drunk people shouting in the street till 1am!! It’s miles away from my prior email request for “frequent traveler needed quiet room” shown with photos listed among hotel’s advertise. Keep away.

My friend and myself were sharing a twin room. The hotel insisted on both of us to have photo I.D. I had mine, my friend did not- He was refused entry. He had to go to another hotel at a stupid last minute rate. Very disappoining.

Excellent location is all that stood out Staff polite and helpful Lifts terrible 1 not working other one only just get 4 people in without luggage, didnt feel safe in it banging and rattling Rooms very worn out and dated Not 100% clean needs modernising Stayed here few times due to location, Price high for no luxury whatsover Overall it serves the purpose for a night out!! Only recommend for location

Was worried as read bad reviews after booking but reception staff friendly on check in and room tired and dated but exceptionally clean. Room 912 lovely view over the city. Only downside was 1 lift working and took forever.

Facilities were very poor, ripped, damaged and stained furnishings, a condemned heated towel rail, a portable noise electric fan heater to warm the warm, and inadequate lighting. Other hotel guest were; noise, rude, threatening all throughout the night and early hours of the morning. Hotel staff unable to control the situation. Had to stay with the chain on my room door for safety but felt very unsafe. Reported everything to hotel and nothing done and not able to speak to anyone at Agoda to report and get my money back either. Left ASAP in a taxi.

Awful service. No control over noisy guest in rooms which made it impossible for me to sleep at all during the night despite calling reception several times. Total hrs sleep 0. Closed bar at 10pm as it was not busy despite some of us using the bar. Needs refurbishing. Staff not interested in dealing with customer complaints just tell you to email Britannia but looking on review websites lots of comments that they don’t respond. I kept looking out of my window seeing a Premier Inn and wished I was staying there! Was so tired I checked out at 7.30 and went home as my weekend was now spoilt. If you have a choice go elsewhere!

Very dated, dirty rooms. Threadbare carpets, broken furniture and smelly rooms..... Awful stay due to these reasons and the fact that a group of ‘guests’ on the same floor as my room decided to hold a very noisy party throughout the night - reception contacted x 2, with no intervention and therefore NO SLEEP all night!! I would never advise or recommend a stay here - In a word - Disgusting!

“一般的なホテル”
駅から徒歩で行けますが、ホテルまで坂道が多いのでスーツケースがあると疲れました。受付の人は適当にやってる感がありますが、対応は普通にしてくれます。部屋は無駄なくらい広かったです。鏡も大きく、バスタブもあり、お湯もしっかり出ました。風邪をひいていたため備え付けのティッシュがあったのは助かりました。全体的に古い印象はありましたが、他のところでカバーできてるので、また宿泊したいと思いました。
