Pros the rooms are all kept lovely and clean,staff very friendly Cons you can hear everything in the rooms next door, beds are really hard not good when you have metal in your back,could do with updating

Stayed here twice and that was basically because of how cheap it is, it could be a very good hotel for the size of it, it's a few restaurants, a nightclub (only for private fucions) and a bar that's open to the public. It desperately needs refurbing throughout although having said this at the weekend they were redecorating the 4th floor corridor. The bar on the roadside definitely referbing, if not full my be a lick of paint.. white would be a good as it to dark. The staff in general a nice but there arnt many reception staff so can be hectic when checking in (and waiting to get your room key reset)

Be warned. They will use any excuse to take the £250 deposit. ANY. The staff are rude. Negligent and incapable of understanding the legal implications of their actions. This partucular branch should be avoided. At all costs. Or you will have a fine. For no valid reason. Always use a throw away credit card !!! Or you will find they can just help themselves to your money.. look into it. Its crazy.

Not clear from the Agoda website (and Britannia website ambiguous) that using the pool, gym & spa incurs £5 fee person person per use. Agoda website needs updating to reflect that.

Staff were friendly and upgraded us to a family room instead of a twin room that I accidentally booked! (We’re a couple). It was spacious, clean and perfect location. Would have liked free WiFi that was the only downside!

This hotel is ideally situated for the Christie hospital I only live 12 miles away from the hospital but we stayed there last Wednesday evening as my wife had an appointment at 8 am Thursday morning and decided to take the stress out of the travelling I am so glad we did the reception staff were excellent my wife is struggling to get about at the moment and they noticed this and gave us a upgraded room that was more disabled friendly than the room we where allocated thank you ladies it was so stress free she has an appointment at the same time this Thursday we are going to try to book the same room 🤞

Staff rude ignored the fact we had requested to be off ground flood gave me a mucky look when I asked if we could go on a higher floor so that was a no!! And it was horifficly noisy all night people shouting up and down the hallway door slamming hotel was filthy stains on the bed bodily fluid stains all over the cushions cobwebs everywhere I will never return here I wouldn’t wish anyone having to go here!!

A cheap place to stay but the furniture and carpet is quite worn and the room/bathroom could have done with a deep clean (the bathroom smelled of smoke). The hotel did the job for me so no complaints overall.

The room was dirty, disgusting stains everywhere. Smelt of smoke. The hair dryer broke and when we went down for a replacement we were met with rude staff who were refusing to give us another. Would never stay here again

Had much better rooms on previous trips. Unfortunately this was a pokey twin bed room....... which overlooked an area at the back/middle of the hotel which had pipes/vents etc (probably catering areas)...... windows overlooked this enclosed area & therefore no fresh air. Bathroom also pokey & basic...... slight stale smell on entering room....... TV very small & sited at an angle from the beds - so uncomfortable to watch. Never had a room like this before here......... disappointed on this occasion.

The 2 hand driers in the ladies ground floor toilet were not working - and there was a wedding reception on!! I reported it the next morning on my departure. My bedroom and bathroom were very clean and everything working. The small outside area outside my ground floor single room No. 15 was very 'scruffy'! Dirty food (dinner) plates were left outside the bedroom opposite, on the floor, all night! The female receptionist was very helpful with the buses, but didn't write-down my wake-up call apparently!

My daughter and I were very pleased with the spacious room, very comfortable beds and lovely ensuite - great facilities. However, when we arrived the receptionist was less than welcoming or helpful - did the bare minimum to check us in and responded to our questions very grumpily. Breakfast was lovely and there was some appreciated thought that had gone into providing some free from products. One of the waiters was very charming and friendly. However, the flat rate charge did not provide any breakfast options so regardless of whether all you wanted was a piece of toast and a coffee or a full English with all the trimmings it would cost you £10.50. The cost of WiFi was expensive too - £7 for 24 hours. The decor is a bit dated and gives the overall impression the whole place needs a refurb, particularly the carpet. However, it did the job for us even though the overall cost was doubled due to the overpriced extras.

“double payment. paid to agoda and paid to the hotel”
Good morning! I paid for this accomodation by agoda 60 430 KZT on 28November 2019, then when I came to the hotel, I again paid to Britannia Coutrny house Hotel for pre-authorization at the same amount. In hotel personnel said that it will be returned during 5 working days. Currently my money still freezed by Hotel. Could you please help me with this issue? thanks!
