Close to the airport - staff were very helpful. Ideal for an overnight stay pre/post arrival/departure at Manchester airport. Free wi fi was an unexpected bonus. Would stay again under the same conditions.

The rooms were cosy, the bathroom clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is at a significant distance from the city centre, but there is a direct bus that stops right outside.

Not the most pleasant appearance from the outside when you pull up. The rooms are very good and lots of room with all the facilities our bed was very comfortable. Ģreat hotel for a overnight stay when you have a early flight out of Manchester. The pub right next door is excellent for reasonable priced food. Would recommend this hotel. Great Value for your money.

I had booked an early flight from Manchester airport so I needed to be up at 4am. This lodge is a 10min taxi ride from the airport and less expensive than others so it served my purpose well. I had a meal in the pub next door before turning in and the staff on night duty arranged a taxi for me and gave me an early call.

When we arrived my husband said it was like driving into a Butlins camp, which to be fair, it did! Reception is small but adequate and staff were friendly. We were allocated room 2, right next to reception which did worry us a bit, regarding noise, but these fears were unfounded. The room itself was pleasant. Cosy, (although the central heating wasn't working, they did have a plug in heater running). The bed was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Plenty of socket points, with a hairdryer supplied. Also plenty of towels provided. The bathroom was small but clean, and the shower hot and roomy enough. The hotel doesn't provide food but is right next door to The Pelican (a flaming grill), good, filling food and does a lovely breakfast in the morning! All in all, I'd definitely use the Altrincham Lodge again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

“Great value for money. The photo is the pub which was excellent”
The food at the pub is truly best value.. two good meals for 10 pound. Bottle of wine a fiver mid week special.. the hotel is behind the pub, looks pretty awful.. more like a sixties office complex but room bed and bedding were just fine.. not a luxury break but great for being close to the airport... Would use again.
