I stayed for two weeks in the "nicest" rooms at this hotel. During my time I was shocked by the low level of cleanliness, the poor facilities, and the attitude of the staff. As a business traveller, I appreciate good service and tip well, however when service leaves noticeable dust, dirt and the fridge doesn't work (among other issues) I cannot find myself able to work. I would not recommend.

My room was nice and clean although no toilet brush. The breakfast was really tasty although not very warm. The bar area is nice with sofa's and I had a nice tasty chicken ceasar salad and a pizza. The pool was a bonus for a quick morning swim but it's quite small and there was a family in there, which wasn't a problem but due the size you wouldn't want many more. Overall I would say it was good value for what I paid (on a deal)and I would stay again.

It is good only if u wan a hotel near warner studio. There is no slope to bring ur luggage to the hotel. Need to carry yourself. Rooms abit small but good enough just sleep and go.

We decided to move to the hotel because it is near to the Harry Porter Studios. The hotel is clean for that age. We did not have very high expectation. There is no food option near the hotel. You will need to uber out if you don’t eat in the hotel.

Stayed 1 night after spending almost 5 hours at WB studios. Very nearby but you basically have to walk around tge studio compound to get here. It rained , we took an Uber. Rooms are quite far from the reception. But it was really clean, good size, enough floor space ti open 2 large suitcases. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean, toiletries were good as well.

We booked this to be close to Harry Potter studios, which is only about a 30 minute walk so that was good. We booked a superior twin room and this was shown on our confirmation, but we got a double so it ended up my daughter had to sleep on the floor as I always book a twin because she kicks in the night, but we got extra bedding. The manager was friendly and offered another room but that would have been by a wedding party and I did not want too much noise. There was some noise as we were by the car park but we did manage to sleep. We enjoyed the breakfast

Hotel set in beautiful grounds & really nice for leisurely walk. The original mansion house is is impressive to look at & has nice marble floors, crystal chandeliers, comfortable big leather sofas & a little hideaway bar area. Only had an afternoon tea in the restaurant, which was very enjoyable, with plenty of choice. We had a lovely view from our hotel bedroom & enjoyed it with the curtains open until it got very dark. The bed felt squishy when you sat on it, so wasn't sure if we'd have a good sleep as like a firmer mattress. Didn't need to worry as bed/mattress very comfortable & even though it felt softer, it was only the initial sitting/laying down that felt like you were sinking into the bed. We had a massive walk in shower, with a rain & riser head. Both very powerful, but if you have it on maximum power, water escapes the walk in part & goes everywhere. Had a mini swimming pool the 1st time & bath mat soaked. We had a lovely time & enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would highlight is for the hotel to let you know at the time of booking if they have anything going on that might hinder your stay. For us, the swimming pool was closed due to children's weekly swimming lessons, so unable to use the pool. Also the lounge & bar area filled with parents, siblings & babies waiting for their children, so unable to relax & enjoy an afternoon coffee, snack or pre dinner drinks without youngsters screaming & running around. Obviously we know the hotel is not responsible for the behaviour of children, but they should highlight activities that will prevent paying guest from using facilities during their stay, so you can look at alternative options/dates if certain things would bother you. For us, we didn't go there to swim, it just would've been nice to know prior to arrival.

Fantastic location till we found out that our rooms are not in the main (and magnificent) building but in a new adjoining) block without a lift. Very nice breakfasts with a large choice of fresh fruit and the warm swimming pool open from 6.30 to 21.00 were definitely the highlights of our stay. On the negative side: the rooms were quite small with very limited wardrobe and cupboard space. They were cleaned regularly but on the last day I noticed that inside the clean cover I had a very worn out and stained duvet. We also had problems with mixed up bookings and central heating not working properly. The staff were mostly pleasant and helpful, except for the time when one of us was trying to locate some left behind items. The hotel is very good for a long weekend stay but not very comfortable for the 8 nights we spent there.

- Beautiful from the outside - Room is a bit dated, but had a good sleep - Breakfast is excellent (the danish pastries are crispy, which is rare) -short drives to Warner Bro Studio / city center - nice and quiet environment (except when the garbage truck comes 6 in the morning) - Good!

As per above, a week later I still can't decide if the place was worth the money. Decent location, attached restaurant serving approx 15 dishes, decor on the pretty side. The bathroom had some damages to it, which wasn't great but what I think brought my rating down are the following: 1. both upon check-in and out we had to wait for a brief moment for the staff to turn up, 2. We requested a wake-up call which never happened 3. What did wake us up though was a blaring alarm approx an hour before we had to hit the road, which is around 3am. I completely understand humans are only humans, errors happen etc but basing this on the only experience I had in this place. Also bare in mind, we didn't use all the amenities available (being the pool) as I wasn't feeling well amd didn't want to make my condition worse.

The setting is lovely and quiet. It was clean and comfortable and great value for money. The food was quite expensive and could be improved upon. Breakfast was satisfactory but the food from the menu was not as good.

Lovely room and hotel. Staff were helpful upon arrival but the room was for 2 instead of 3. Soon sorted. Breakfast was good but staff looked bored and were chewing gum paying more attention to one another. The pool is small but was warm and a bonus. Grounds looked lovely It cost £10 in taxi to get from Harry Potter studios as a couple of miles by road not 0.4 miles so we couldn’t walk as expected. The room was modern and had the comfiest beds so brill nights sleep. Overall a lovely hotel and location.

my stay was very short, overnight arrived mid afternoon and had to leave early morning. when we arrived the room was cold however i trun the heating on and everything was fine. the room was small, and in a small annex section of the hotel.
