I would like to make a complaint about my booking, I booked to stay at your hotel on the 21st of Feb, I was in room 121 first of all the kettle wasn't working we had to call reception and maintenance they then changed our kettle the room was absolutely freezing cold the lights were so dim and dark! We got in a 1am from a wedding to then have to call reception as our room was so cold we couldn't sleep In it, they checked our radiator wasn't working we then got moved to a different room 128 at 2am in the morning we had to be moving all our belongings over to another room which was really frustrating and not on! When we then got moved into room 128 the bed side lights stopped working I'm really not happy with this at all. And I have emailed and haven’t got no response

Lovely presented building. The room we had was a double bed booking, however the bed was uncomfortably small and my husband and I are not large people. (I’m 5”3, 120lbs). Value for money was good and spa facilities are lovely for a couple, but on the small scale for a group. Hot tub can accommodate at most 3 people comfortably.

The hotel and the surrounding area are beautiful. Great breakfast. Cleanliness was decent. The jacuzzi was broken, and the pool colder than normal, which was very disappointing. The steam room is wonderful though.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and my room was really lovely—clean, comfortable, and well-presented. The staff were also genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is quite secluded, down unlit back roads with limited signal. While it’s in the middle of nowhere, it’s still only a short drive to nearby towns, so it wasn’t too inconvenient. The main downside for me was the spa. It felt dated and very small considering the size of the hotel, and there was an extra £5 charge per person (and apparently per night) just for towels, which felt unnecessary. The pool is small, the steam room could only fit around five people comfortably, and the sauna was even smaller. Overall, the spa was a bit of a let-down. Another issue was the £50 “security deposit.” Instead of being held on my account, it was actually deducted. At checkout I was told that any items on my bill would be taken from this amount, which made it feel more like I’d prepaid an extra £50 rather than having a standard security hold. Aside from the spa and the deposit confusion, I did enjoy my stay. The hotel has a lot of positives, especially the lovely staff and the beautiful setting.
