Great location for waterfall country. Nice rooms, good facilities - coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Bathroom was basic and signs of wear and tear in parts. Staff nice and breakfast great - even catered for vegetarian with veggie sausages and bacon - excellent! We stayed for one night on a Saturday night, unfortunately there was a karaoke night in the pub downstairs (unfortunate timing) which went on until 12am so made it difficult to sleep. If you are a light sleeper and room is on the road then you may hear the noise of the road and the punters.

The staff where really helpful and friendly . We where getting there probably after 11pm so I ok ‘ d on the phone and Linda the manager who was very accommodating with our request . We arrived just before 11pm after a long day and where shown to our room, the music in the bar below was really load and we where told it would stop soon . Unfortunately the music did not stop at 11pm but went on till 12pm . The room was a little dated but clean and tidy with a comfy bed and clean bed linen. The Breakfast was a full English and a very generous helping , it would have been nice to have the option of cereal or a lighter alternative . The staff where so helpfully friendly and it was a lovely experience overall , just a shame the music went on till so late which is why I gave it 4 stars. A great over night stop at a reasonable price booked through Agooda. Maybe check the entertainment schedule or ask for a room that is not over the bar if you want an earlier night sleep!

“Good budget accommodation ”
The positives: The staff is very friendly. The pub is nice, busy, great atmosphere, food is very nice and good portions. Our room was nice, comfy bed, clean, hot shower Negatives… the rooms are getting revamped with good looking material. That means some parts are great, better than others. But no disturbance during our stay. Work in progress for a good finish.
