Hotel was smart and facilities were good. We used the pool which the kids loved. None of the showers in the changing rooms had shampoo or body wash which was a shame

We stayed here for an event nearby. Check in was quick and easy, the room was comfortable, clean and spacious. We did not have the food so can’t comment on this. We had access to the spa- pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi which was lovely, quiet even on a weekend and such a treat! This made it good value for money for us and we would recommend and stay again

Despite its 4-star rating, the accommodation was disappointing. The rooms appeared worn and lacked cleanliness — I even noticed mould on the windows. The mattress probably 10 years old!!! As for the spa facilities, particularly the men's area, they were shockingly poor and far below expectations for a venue that markets itself as a spa. I strongly advise against visiting. If you do, you’ll likely be asking for a refund. This feedback comes from someone who regularly stays away 3 to 4 nights a week, and I genuinely expected a much better experience from this place.

Stayed to visit the British masters our 3rd year running staying at this hotel. Great location rooms a bit dated and things like not all working in ladies changing rooms.

Room was not serviced,food in the restaurant was poor and overpriced. Some of the staff were fine, but some of them were very unhelpful The place is well overdue a refurb and a good clean. If you do have to stay there go to the Indian restaurant down the road its fantastic.

So on arrival I was moved into a room that hadn’t been cleaned,towels all over the bathroom floor/ tea cups dirty and left around the bedroom/ bed not changed or made up/ room dusty .i was then moved to a second room after my complaint and the headboard was cracked and pealing off. The price of food and drink was ridiculous.the only compensation would be my money back I had to leave a day early as I didn’t want to stay .

Great stay. Warm welcome. Easy check in. Lots of parking. Lovely pool and sauna facilities and decent breakfast with friendly staff will stay again.

Stayed a couple of nights. Room very dated and tired. Bed base shedding the leatherette, bathroom needs silicone replacing, kettle lid broken. Food was quite poor (one slice of cheese with the Ploughmans!). No Caesar dressing on the salad (had to ask for it). Talking to others, it seems different day, different chef, different take on meals. Staff were nice and friendly though.

Recently stayed and the facilities were fantastic. Stayed for a wedding with a great function room. The variety of food was pretty good however a few options ran out at breakfast which is a shame. Apart from that it was a great experience.
