We booked a two-night stay with our two dogs, all online with costs upfront and paid the deposit. Upon checkout there had been a cost added for staying with a dog(s) of £20, and there was no mention of this on the booking form or the online accommodation details or booking site, I never mind paying extra to stay with my dogs,... You need to be honest and upfront with costs. This aside, the location is particularly good, the staff are amazing and could not be more helpful. The rooms are tired, but we were told that they are under the process of being refurbished one at a time. Food was exceptionally good too, with an exceptional breakfast. I would have given more stars, but the hidden cost took the edge off the stay.

“Lovely room, easy parking in the rear courtyard”
We were in Rm #1, delightful and large. Friendly staff, room only so cannot comment on the food. Restaurant was OK for dinner. The beds appear to be deep foam and mine was quite sunken. My partners was fine though. I would stay here again.
