We were only stopping for one night, awoken by very noisy cistern, had to mess with that @ 3-30. Because the bedroom lights were on the bloody pigeons must have thought it was time to get up (we where @ the back of the hotel) so we did not sleep very well. Have to say though that the room was clean so was the bathroom.

Not a well looked after hotel. Noisey, dirty and unloved. Shame because location is excellent.

Key card worked only when it wanted to, door handle came off in our hand. Bathroom tiny, tv changed channel on a whim. Bed uncomfortable and creaked on every breath. Staff accommodating, nice breakfast.

Turnt up at the hotel room resvervation for 3 peoppe bit 4 like i booked. The receptionist was so rude and unhelpful we paid 100 pounds for one night to stay in a hotel as adequate as a hostel. My kids were kept up ubtill 4 in the morning with a couple have a swearing screaming match with smashing and voilence. We called recepetion 3 times no awnswer. Would never stay again woulr never recommended

The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It was an extremely good venue for the Tennis International competition week. It is close to both restaurant and shops. The hotel is a little tired and could do with some updating. However it was good value for money and they will sell you parking permits for £1 a day.

My husband and I enjoyed two nights in the Albany - a birthday gift from the family - in order to attend the Nature Valley tennis tournament at Devonshire Park. My husband uses a wheel chair, so no disabled access to the hotel proved difficult, also car parking ( the hotel had run out of parking permits!)

I can’t recommend this hotel which is a shame it’s in a great location and the staff are lovely but it’s tired old shabby and unclean ..... the sheets and towels are nice and clean ...... if you want a cheap nights stay the.n I guess it could be ok ..... we can’t comment on the food as we had room only

Our room was very little, old furniture and carpet. The elevator is very old and it takes forever to get to the 3rd floor. This places relay need a renovation and for that the price is too high. The breakfast was the top of our unsatisfaction-very little Sortiment and bad quality. Instant coffee, the cheapest bread and no taste in anything. And the top of all This was a jam witch was moulded-and the stuff did not even say “excuse me”, but instead of that “I can bring you another one”. We didn’t go to the bar, as it has the smell of an old unclean pub. The stuff did not agree to give money back for our breakfast. And we didn’t eat the other day.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, and found it to be good value for money. Staff are very friendly, and checkin as wel as check out went very smooth and fast. The hotel and rooms are a bit dated and worn, but the sea views from our rooms compensated for that. Breakfast was ok, with bufffet provided English breakfast. If you would be looking for a continental breakfast, choice is quite limited. We would defenitely select this hotel again.

Very friendly staff, Lovely rooms and brilliant price. Only downside was the carvery closed at 7pm so only good if want an early dinner. Breakfast was well cooked though. Will definitely stay again.

Total dive of a note. Mould all in the bedroom. Cob weds on the fire alarm chest of draws falling spare. No internet in bedroom as promised. Breakfast was a shambles meant to be buffet until 10 but go down at 9.30 they run out of food and didn't restock just bout me and partner a plate of food after waiting 20mins. We tried to book into another hotel but all was fully booked. Totally spoiled our weekend we never wanted to stay in the room. Hotel needs to be shut down and rebuilt. Place wasn't even suitable for the homeless it was a disgrace don't waste your money

We were moved to Mansion Lions due to lack of bookings at Albany Lions. We were given a front room with sea and pier views. Breakfasts were delicious, and service great. Parking was just around corner £1 per day. Totally enjoyed our stay.
