素敵なスタッフ、必要なものが揃った非常にシンプルな部屋。ただ一つの欠点は、駐車場がなく、最寄りの夜間駐車場まで徒歩30分かかることです。それを除けば、この場所はブリストルでの一泊に完璧な場所でした。

It is grossly overpriced, dingy uninviting place where you lose your appetite the moment you walk it. Absolutely no value for money. I wonder how they are still keeping their license to operate. It is an indictment on the Bristol Council that they allow auch unscrupulous practice to take place under their noses. I would not advise anyone to wasterl their hard earned money in a place where you feel your health and safety is under threat. On the positive side the receptionist was helpful and took time to explain stuff. The bedding was clean to my surprise after seeing a very dirty coach just close to it. There were tea facilities apart from tje floor but my appetite had gone.

We came down to watch Derby lose away at Bristol again and stayed in the Clift Guest House for a second time, great location, nice and quiet hotel with friendly staff for a very good price.

I was welcomed by staff kindly and helped with my luggage to be taken upstairs. Explained all the amenities available to use and was shown to a very comfy single bedroom en-suite. It had TV, kettle, fan, heater, mini fridge and tea and coffee. It was a nice place to stay for a few nights had no problem whatsoever! Would recommend if you’re looking for an inexpensive yet excellent guest house.

I have said I couldn’t recommend this guest house to a friend . The reason being parking of hit or miss rather than guaranteeing a parking space outside the guest house. Double yellow lines directly outside and spaces nearby at a rarely available , ourselves being lucky to find one available. The guest house on first sight is rather disturbing due to decor and old furniture. However everything from floors, furnishings and bedding spotless. Shared bathroom immaculately clean. Pine bed solid and comfortable along with good pillows. Endless amounts of hot water along with very warm rooms with time controlled radiators. Never once felt cold in the room even though the room was well aired. Door lock was substantially solid leaving no movement when door closed and locked. Close to city centre by taxi with a fare of £9 one way.

Supposedly discounted by 75%, we paid £93 for two nights on a non-refundable 'deal'. I wanted to turn around and find another place but had to grit my teeth and put up. Lodgings cannot be described as a guest house.
