Really happy with the stay here. Great location, plenty of restaurants around, 10 minutes max from any highlights in Bristol. And a host who is clearly great at his job and who enjoys what he is doing. A pleasure to stay here!

Hi booked a single room. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Richard was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed staying in one of the period terraced houses with a glimpse of the sea and pier from ny window and plenty of cafes, pubs etc and buses near by.

I didn't get the owners names but they are the nicest people. I stayed with my son in a double room. All the rooms are up or down stairs and I was on the top floor. As I have a walking stick, they sent us off for some tea and moved the rooms around and looked after our bags for us. Breakfast was amazing and included I'm the price. The room itself was lovely with a full sized wardrobe and chest of drawers. Tea coffee and biscuits in the room was lovely. I'm already planning to come back and I only left yesterday!

The hotel itself is more homely than modern as the website suggests, earthy tones, squashy sofas and rooms that are spotless but a little worn. It's very close to the seafront which probably explains the price but, the thing that really blew us away was the staff. They really bent over backwards to accommodate us and the customer service was up there with the best of them. Its a small hotel and we were made to feel right at home.

Check-in was problematisch: niemand aanwezig ondanks herhaald en op verschillende momenten aan de deur bellen, telefoonnummer waarnaar verwezen werd, werd herhaaldelijk niet opgenomen. Parking beschikbaar? Gewoon op straat, betalend, als je geluk hebt... Vreemde geur in hotel. In het weekend 2x niet kunnen ontbijten omdat het ontbijt pas mogelijk was vanaf half 9 aangezien de manager zelf met vakantie was... Verder eenvoudige en nette kamer, zoals verwacht.
