Great location for a band in Banbury for a group of friends looking for comfortable beds and a pleasant environment. We were not disappointed.

All staff so friendly and helpful. Room rates reasonable but we thought breakfast was abit pricey. Our best existence was that we forgot a mobile phone in the bedroom and the hotel phoned us after we left to say they had it - great honesty. .. Thank you

“Good location but poor food and wifi”
Clean sheets and bathroom, but first not given wifi password, then tried the one given in the room, then rang down and was told it was written on my card holder - it wasn’t. Then rang down again and was given a password which i tried for 45 minutes to use, then went down in person to be told by the receptionist that I was getting it wrong because there’s nothing wrong with the wifi as it had just been updated. She then gave me another password which had been emailed through to her fifteen minutes before - guess what, that didn’t work either so I gave up. I had made it clear on arrival that I had a meeting online 7-9 and was reassured that this would be fine. I missed my meeting. Worse still was the restaurant food. As I only checked in at 5:45 and had a meeting at 7, I booked into the he restaurant for 6pm. I had tomato soup which had zero tomatoes in it and tasted like a packet mix - really weird. Then I had the vegetable sausage casserole which was a strange glutinous mix of sauce from a jar, and the carrots on the side looked like they’d been sliced up and cooked a decade ago. Essentially, really poor, but well done to the housekeeping staff for super clean bedsheets and bathroom. Am not bothering with breakfast!!
