The hotel room very spacious especially the apartment, fast chekin, clean, and staff very helpful especially Mr Akin Akyuz we asked to upgrade the room next day and it was very quick , thank you everyone.

员工提前打开空调等待入住，前台工作专业高效。位置绝佳，加拉太区中心，出门就是地铁和地轨缆车站(Tunel)。去独立大街(İstiklal Caddesi)和加拉太塔步行3分钟内。套房设施齐全，空间宽敞，设有小阳台可以远眺金角湾和伊斯坦布尔老城天际线。早上可以看见许多海鸥，晚上偶有声音但基本不影响睡眠。价格实惠，值得推荐。可以改善的是房间门无法遮挡走廊灯光，以及加床床垫欠舒适。

“Unfriendly staff and cold rooms”

Five minutes to the checkout time an employee knocked at my door with an ugly face saying I should do the checkout. Heating wasn't working. At night, I asked for help to the staff and I awaited for more than one hour awake and than I resigned and went to sleep feeling already sick. The room was too cold and even a bath wasn't possible. The hotel has an attached restaurant where the breakfast is served, but the staff isn't very attentive or friendly at all too. I use to repeat my destinations and hotels, but I'm not staying in Tunel Residence on the next trip.

If you are planning to have the most uncomfortable stay then Tunel Residence is surely the hotel. Here's a list of why: Reception staff do not even give eye contact, with masks on you can't even tell if he is giving you his attention or busy doing his/her thing. No AC, the heater is on the whole time so either turn off the heater or open windows in a really noisy area . and you cannot change your clothes in the room because you neeed to keep the curtens open so you can have a breath in the room . beds are very very un comfortable at all and its not straight at all so you feel that you are falling on the sides of the bed pellows are very bad and seems like they washed them in the washing machine so it turned on like a bunch of cotton balls which causes you a neck pain . shelf looks dirty as alot of marking. toilet is a different story , the door handle came off while closing the door so you cannot close the door anymore , toilet roof paint all fall down which looks disgusting. most of the electric sockets are not working and its coming off the wall. and the funny part is that when we complaint to the shift in charge and asked him that i really need the ac as its too noisy and hot in the room his answer was as simple as this is our system and if you dont like it then you can complaint in the morning to the boss. nothing can be done and we wont turn on the ac in the hotel for you . never never recommend it and will never go there again.

Un hotel foarte bun pentru pretul cerut. Situat la 5 min. de Istiklal si la 5 min. de Turnul Galata. Parcarea gratuita este un avantaj. Statia de metrou este chiar in fata hotelului.

“Great location, needs TLC. ”

Great location and great receptionist staff, but is one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed at. The facilities are run down - pool is moldy and slimy and gym is covered in a thick layer of grime. Floor of the hotel room was so dirty it turned my feet black and their response was to put an old dirty rug down — also, some sort of slug was coming out of the AC vent in bathroom and we had a dead cockroach turn up on our floor as well. This review is not to be rude but to hopefully inspire the management to use the 76-100+ € for each room per night to make some much needed improvements. If this hotel was better taken care of and cleaned it would be fabulous. Thank you to the receptionists that made the stay lovely though.

Location close to GAlata tower. Begolyu district, arts scene, v close to funicula, metro station and lovely local restaurants.

Would not consider this a 5 star hotel as listed on google. Two years back, possibly. Now in 2017, I'd give it a 2.9/5. We had a nice check in, and the receptionist, a lady, Nurcan was really friendly and nice. Upon entering the room.. We were incredibly disappointed. It smelled musky.. and we realised the smell came from the toilet (possibly due to the wooden plank in the shower). The shower switched from cold to hot and hot to cold too.. And at times, the pressure was from low to high and vice versa. Though (so-so) clean and basic, rooms are badly maintained. Wifi was also not working on the 6th floor.. Everytime we connected, the connection was low and disconnected automatically. We went to reception and was told nothing could be done till the next morning, as there wasn't a technician. When we saw the receptionist the following morning, she didn't even initiate to follow up / let us know if she had called for a technician and just went about her day. We didn't want to make it a big deal and we spent time watching tv the whole 3D2N. The bed mattress is soft and upon sitting down, it sinks in too. We had pretty bad back aches when we woke up both mornings. The bed head of the bed's leather has also peeled off, which caused the leather chippings to fall onto our face as well as our pillows / mattress. The furniture in the room has also chipped off. That aside, parquet floors seems uncleaned and the toilet bowl was uncleaned as well. Pillows were also soft and flimsy. Tunel Residence would have been a nicer stay if every little aspect of the room was looked into carefully and not just swept under the rug or done half heartedly. Plus point, the hotel is situated within walking distances of eateries and shops which was a really nice vibe. The cafe situated at the lobby, Big Chef's also made it a pleasant stay - Food was incredibly good. That aside, the hotel seems really dingy and the stay was not worth the money. We would have been happier topping up and staying else

“Great Location ”

The room was spacious we had a 1 bedroom apartment. Great to have kitchen and washing facilities for a long stay. Some maintenance is required- half of shower door missing, bathroom door doesn't stay open, floor boards raising, dryer wouldn't work on washing machine (although they tried to help) and Internet kept cutting out. Room was smokey even though it was a non smoking room. Breakfast is at attached restaurant. Good meals served here. Good location, near Tunnel tram and main St full of shops and restaurants.
