felt a little awkward as the owner worked all day then came home for ten minutes and left again so i was alone in his house all the time. the noise from the traffic especially early in the morning was particularly loud and to walk down to the main road you have to beware of all the dogs who are not used to pedestrians..

This small guest house is nice and welcoming, i spent one night there, the owner is nice and helpfull. You are 12min from the center by walk, but you will find some food 30 meters from the house. Very good wifi, hot shower, and nice room. I recommand this place.

“Two nights at His and My Rental”
I stayed for two nights in Satun, a nice city (or more like big town). It is a little bit rural but an easy 10 minute walk into town. I found the facilities awkward because you were staying in someone's house and wasn't sure what to use, and the show/toilet was quite far away in the basement and there were lots of mosquitos. Though he did give me some repellant on arrival. It was comfy and a good bed with good wifi. But a little deserted for a solo traveller as I was the only one there...
