“WARNING- this Villa is run by crooks!! ”
The villa I am writing in reference to is 29/8 Atika Villas , Muean Ngan Road, Patong This villa is Not worth ANY stars at all Do NOT book this villa if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday !!! 29/8 Atika Villas , Muean Ngan Road, Patong is owned by a thiefing company! Me and my friends were there and were asked by 3 separate individuals ( 1 an ? Agent of Thailand Holiday Homes, 1 from Atika Villas and a cleaner from Atika Villas company for $20000 baht deposit !! When we kindly try to clarify and ask the various parties to be present for a joint meeting at THEIR convenience so we can pay the deposit in front of everyone we were rudely turned down by the management and when we request to talk to the owner the owner aka Peter - he told us he think customers views are a load of rubbish and he THREATEN he have friends with the police who will get rid of us. Me and my friends left a night before our stay was due and NO direct refund option was given. They also charged us ridiculously high electricity bills when we left. As well as the greedy and rude management , the villa is situated on a very steep hill and you can be prepared to spend most of your holiday negotiating with drivers to take you to the beach or mall and to beg drivers to take you back to the villa as it is geographically extremely inconvenient. DO not be fooled by the decor or the descriptions from their website. One of their “bedrooms” is actually located in a real life stuffy dungeon below the swimming pool. I researched them and it turns out this villa and it’s management are notorious for their cheating sand rude behavior and basically repeatedly changed their names due to extremely poor reviews- latest name “ seductive sunset villa”. There are many statues and pictures of Buddha in the villa and the owner and management has probably earned themselves as much bad karma as the money they have cheated from our trip and from past travelers.
