The hotel is gone. The place has been developed with a cafe and pool. The hotel owner could not be reached either

This place must have had a fire. Booked it for a family friend to save him some money while we stayed at the more expensive Days Inn next door and when we arrived there was no hotel for him. The building is there but abandoned. As a result, we had a very awkward stay with 3 in a room since it was New Year's and everything else in that area was fully booked. Not the ideal start to a vacation.

Get what you pay for. A clean room in a decent area close to the bars. My only issue was the large number of additional guests in my room (cockroaches). When I was able to get a hold of the staff I was given the cockroach spray I requested and was able to solve the problem.

Pefect location, friendly personal, unfortunately the bathroom was in bad condition, walls were full of moulds and it smells very bad. Please fix it and the would be everiting okay

This was a room with fan it was confortable and clean, right next to the beach. The only issue I had with the place is that the wifi was really bad. I had to reconnext multiple times and even then it was painfully slow or it didnt work

The hotel is an excellent location, may be within 100ft from AoNang beach. The hotel is very basic as they show in the images. It was still better than what I had expected for the amount I paid. Staff was friendly and assisted a lot while check in and out. I felt lack of security, as it’s an open/shared area , plus the room door dint look very reliable to me.

The location is ideal, basically on the Ao Nang beach and staff is friendly. Other than that the place is a bit too run down for the money. The doors have wide gaps in them, so one night a cockroach came through it, the a/c was simple and the whole room needs to be freshened up. It serves it's purpose with a short stay. We stayed only 2 nights. But longer stays are better off in more decent places for that money in Thailand.

We were told to pay an additional 250baht if we want an aircon room. Agoda you have to look into this and compensate us. Dont just keep quiet with our complaints. Previous reviews from customers also had exactly the problem. And yet agoda still book the room for us.

I thought I booked an AC room, but the hotel manager came pounding on my door in the evening while I was in the middle of a work video conference to tell me that her staff had mistakenly given me an AC room when I'd only paid for a fan room, and that I had to change rooms RIGHT NOW. That was impossible--I couldn't interrupt my work call without getting in trouble, so I had to pay an upgrade charge of 250 baht on the spot in order to remain in my room, which was a 170% increase on the room price. The manager was rude and abrupt and she kept pounding on the door even when I called through the door that I couldn't talk right at that moment. The entire interaction was incredibly stressful and left a very sour taste, and I decided to change hotels for my remaining time here in Ao Nang. My new hotel is cheaper, equally close to the beach, has an incredible view, and the woman at the front desk is incredibly kind and friendly. I do not recommend the Palace Hotel. There are better options.

Misleading details to my mind, apparently there are two options. Rooms with just a fan and rooms with air-conditioning. The rooms are like large sheds. The only plus point I can up with, it is close to the beach

You’re right in the mix of things lots of shops and restaurants and alittle off the main road that’s nice. But fan room one window was hotter than out side and everyone mentioned the stagnant Oder. So I switched to air con and there was a debate about the charge to switch. No water for a day than brown gross water, beach is close. I didn’t have my passport at check in so deposit was given but I didn’t take a picture of them holding it so good luck recovering that. All around not the best place I’ve been. Better bang for you buck else where I think.

there’s many bed bugs in the room and my family got infestation by bed bugs, itchiness and redness for days. We got capture the picture of bed bugs on the bed and on the wall. The room is very dirty, there is unclean sand on the bed, no water supply at night, rude and irresponsible boss when we tell her our problem.
