The bungalow was clean, we had new bottles of water and instant coffee every day, no new towels but I prefer it this way :) We rented our motorbike from the hosts and we were 10 minutes away from the best beaches, bonus: we were always welcomed by cats and dogs when coming back 💕

Is very nice location you can go easy walk to the beach or you can rent scouter the stuff is so friendly and make to feel good. Is like on photos very good for the price.

the owner is awesome! very kind flexible patient and tolerant. the place is good, silent and within pristine mangrove forest, clean rooms, however expect a pretty spartan lodging.

We could go to many beach in noon time, and here we could enjoy river. Really good location for long staying. Recommended !

The room is simple but with all the minimum needed for a pleasant stay. We had bungalow behind reception which is quiet. The dogs are attached by night, so there is no need to be afraid but they are just noisy for the rooms in front of reception. The receptionnist seems tired of her work and didn't help us for anything. Wifi didn't work and she didn't care. For the rent of the motorbike she gave us wrong information. But the co-manager (Mister Tee) solved all the problems hopefully.

A wonderful place, in peace and quiet, with the motobike reveals everything is close and accessible. By the way, the bike is in place. Beautiful pretty girl, you will be happy to help in everything. I have poor English but I didn’t feel flawed. She tried very hard to help me and even learned a few words in Russian.

Pros: Friendly, approachable staff Good location - 15 mins walk to Klong Chao beach and a few eateries. Working AC Clean rooms Located in a peaceful, calm setting Bike hire available - 250 baht a day Bottle of water given daily Cons: Bed sheets smelt damp. Overall we had a great stay.

Nice place with very kind staff! We enjoyed the bungalow, it was nice and quiet surrounded by nature. Very very clean!! The only thing I could think off is that you need a scooter to go around and you have to cross a dodgy bridge, but that`s really worth it! Liesbeth

Just Fan room is enough for me to stay in May, kind staff , nice breakfast, the can help me a lot, like I come with 3 friends and I didn't book one more room, when I arrived there she gave me the 1 left room in same price which I booked from agoda which is cheaper and she also help if I need motorcycle and also discount for longer rent There were many dogs , basically I hate dogs but staying here for 3 night can fix me lol The wifi wasn't work well in the room but work best at the center, they are fixing I suggest this fortravellers who like to be in real natural, like jungle , avoid from social (include internet) and wanna save money for other activities in at island. Good location bcuz the Klong Chao beach is kinda best of the island But it's hard to get to this guesthouse bcuz u have to walk/ride across a little river which I think it's dangerous if u were drunk The guesthouse is quite I went the island at 20-23 May 2016 ,there are many construction ex specially the road, so it quite hard to travel within the island

Staff is friendly, location a bit remote, breakfast basic but ok. BUT I had to change the bungalow in the middle of the night because of bedbugs that were very interested in biting me. This is an absolute no go. At first they didn't believe me and sent the uncle to check if there are really bedbugs. It was not difficult to spot them and he immediately started spraying some probably very unhealthy chemicals before I could pack my things, so I got a good nose of that stuff. The second bungalow was ok at least I couldn't find bedbugs. I was lucky that I didn't go to sleep immediately but rather watched a movie in the dark when I felt that I was not alone in my bed. Otherwise it could have been much worse - eaten by bedbugs... There was no apology or further mentioning or offering an upgrade or something else as a compensation. Not even one Baht of the commission they get for the motorbike was waived when I decided to keep it but moved to a resort at the beach and asked for a better price. I'm sorry to say that, but for me they don't seem to care too much about their guests otherwise they would have checked the bed better. If you are going to stay there check carefully. It is not much fun to get bitten by bedbugs and if they get into your luggage you will have even more fun with them, maybe even back home.

Not at the beach, but very easy to reach with a scooter. Location is more local, which is nice. Bungalow was clean. The bed was horrible though, it was just wood, really hard to sleep on. The staff we met wasn't really friendly, except for one lady we met at the end. Overall, it's cheap for staying at koh kood and the location is nice, but sleeping is almost impossible. 7/10

We were nicely greeted and the atmosphere was very nice, but soon enough we understood that the passion of the owner was not the hotel business. It was my first time to have a room where the toilet did not flush.The matrasses were thin and hard, there was no furniture in the room and only one light bulb. Internet was very unstable. Cleanig the room once in 4/5 days. Towels were thin and cheap. No sheets on the beds, just a single synthetic cover. the balcony just had a concrete bench, very uncomfortable to sit on. So a spartan room, heavily overpriced.
