“the room is terrible”

room is terrible ! musty smell strong! and dirty!!!The closestool has urine no wash out !!! many mosquitoes, mouse make noisy on the roof at all night，I woke up many times.,this experience very bad!

“Geriatric backpackers ”

Booked 2 days before but no room available when we arrived. Staff were excellent and found us a room for the night. Resort had been taken over by new age hippies with children everywhere. Expecting a quiet few days but were very disappointed. Also away from the main town. Transport needed.

“Do more research!”

First: this resort is in a terrible location. It's at the very top of the island, opposite of where ferries or any of the decent "action" of this island are. Also, our bungalow had an amazing "beach view" but this entire resort is actually on the wrong end of a channel that you can't physically cross, so to actually get to the beach that looked right outside our window took a 1.5 mile walk through sketchy jungle and neighborhoods. The food was undercooked and not good. The wifi worked in the dining area but wasn't strong enough to get to our nearby bungalow reliably. Very outdated style. Even doe the price you could do much better-- and by that I mean leave Koh Phangan and go to Ko Samui, much more beautiful and clean feeling!

“Good accomodation.”

the pool and the villa are amazing but the location is bit remote, lacks staff, lacks wide range of food and need to do something about the rain water problem on the walkway,

“this hotel it's nice”

it's really good but one thing i need to suggest to some people who might not know if you are going to Fullmoon party im not really suggesting to you but if you just go for a couple or private and not looking for fullmoon im quite suggest you guy to this hotel!

“Very poor `resort`.”

We stayed here for 1 night and it was a nightmare. We had a `cottage`, but the room was smelly, moisty, funghi and old. The beds are very hard and uncomfertable. We had some strange insect bites (we think from some sort of bugs in the bed) and it was sure not from musquito`s. We had a door in our room to the room nextdoor. The door was bend and we could look in the nextdoor room and see the guests doing there things. After complaining about this they send a `engineer` ! to fix the problem. The engineer took a plank of wood and nailed it on the doorframe with 2 big nails. We still could look inside the other room. There was NO WiFi in the rooms as promissed on the site. Only in the restaurant. The garden is 1 big building sight. And it seems that it is like this for several years and the end is not in sight. There are building materials everywhere. They are building about 12 `new rooms` in the garden from second hand materials ! and they look even wurse then the `old rooms`. The water in the swimmingpool was green and we was scared to go for a swim. The beach was no beach but just a muddy and dirty sight. Breakfast (included) was very poor. You could choose from 4 things and that was it. You get 1 egg per person.

“A big disaster”

Terrible, the whole place was a mis- adventure in how not to run a hotel. The swimming pool had to be cleaned for 24 hours before it could be used. Chickens wandered around the grounds and woke you every morning at 6 am. Fishing boats pass by behind the rooms at all hours with their noisy engines. There was building work going on in the grounds. The whole place smelt of chicken and fish.

We were a bit worried about what we had booked after reading some of the negative reviews. But in all had a good stay here. Staff was the friendliest we had encountered so far. We were upgraded to the Thai House without asking. Pool was very nice. Food is average. But free breakfast was good. All their eggs are laid fresh on site. Only complaint was the bed. Could be replaced.

“awful place!!!”

ok... it's the most awful hotel we have been ever..... the only thing was good- is the view of the beautiful nature and ocean together. the rooms are very very dirty!!! the toilet is awful..in the rooms there are a lot of spiders, mosquitos,ants and also something strange was living there in the roof...maybe this was rat or maybe something else.... the hotel is not good located. it's very far away from civilization..... and the stuff also is not good. they are 2 mans only.the food is awful. we really don't advice you coming there.

when we arrived the manager or owner upgraded us to a better room and he was so helpful for our stay ... i would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stay far away from the full moon madness and chill out after partying or just to get away from everything ... beautiful views and great staff

“beautiful”

we really enjoyed our stay here, we were upgraded by the very friendly staff. The pool was lovely. This area is still used by local fisherman so the beach isnt too flash but very interesting. Away from the crowds, this area really appealed to us and the breakfast was fantastic. Very romantic surrounds and the gardens were beautiful.

just save for money, i'd rather recommend Neptune in haad rin. this place is just an insult... no way i'd recommend it to anyone! I would rather sleep under a bridge! this place is the crapiest i've ever been to and i've been to a lot of crapy places around the globe.

“Un lugar muy aceptable”

Pensabamos quedarnos sólo un par de días y cambiar de zona, pero al ser tan buena la relación calidad precio y ser la única pega la localización y la playa cercana, como nos hacía falta moto igual la localización no nos importó. El mejor hotel calidad precio de los 5 que recorrimos en thailandia.

Chambre dans un etat de propreté insalubre, a notre arrivée pas de drap pas de serviette Moisissure partout meme sur la tête de lit en tissu!! Salle de bain pas mieux : lavabo réparé au ruban adhesif tache de saleté et moisissure partout sur les murs et evacuation de douche bouchée par des cheuveux et poils ?? Rapport qualité prix mediocre à fuir

“Bel endroit mais un peu excentré”

4 nuit en famille dans la partie "cottage" (= des ensembles de 3 chambres accolées). Les moins : - un emplacement de l'autre coté de la rivière par rapport à la plage donc si on est pas motorisé il faut marcher 1,5 km avec un grosse montée (puis descente) pour aller au bourg de Chaloklum où sont les commerces et les restaurants (NB : il y a aussi un restau sur place mais on a pas testé à part pour le petit déjeuner, très correct) - un service un peu minimaliste par défaut (ménage, équipements...) - des équipements parfois un peu "vieillots" et des prestations (finitions peintures, robinetteries) pas très soignés - le bruit des bateau de pêcheurs le matin (pour les personnes sensibles au bruit) - très mauvaise isolation phonique (une simple porte) entre les chambres des cottages. - on ne peut pas se baigner à la plage qui borde le resort : cailloux, et eau de la rivière peu avenante.. Le neutre : une literie correcte.. si on supporte les matelas à ressort (on peut ajouter des molletons). Les + : - un bel endroit, des bungalows et cottages bien répartis avec des espaces extérieurs sympas (tables, végétation, oiseaux, ombre...). La proximité de la rivière est un plus, esthétique et pour l'animation (passage des pêcheurs) - ballade, jeux et veillées possibles directement au bord de l'eau (sable). Beaux couchers de soleil. - la piscine est très bien, très propre, très bien tenue, ne pique pas les yeux, vue magnifique. Parfait pour les enfants, grands ou petits (partie peu profonde) - proximité avec superbe la plage de Haad Kom à 1 km vers le nord, accessible à pied par la route (15 minutes, ça monte et ça descend aussi, mais moins que pour aller à Chaloklum) - le personnel est sympa, efficace et réactif dès qu'on demande quelque chose. - proximité (200 m en grosse montée) avec un autre resort "Belvédère" qui a un restau très bien avec une vue magnifique (qui vaut bien la montée) sur toute la baie.

“Séjour prolongé au buritara”

Excellent rapport qualité prix, grandes chambres spacieuses, douches correctes pour l île, personnel extra mais Hotel loin de tout (15-20 mn de scoot de thong sala le port et 40 mn d ha drin (plage full moon) Malgré cela, nous le conseillons...
