良いところは、自然。これにつきる。 20〜30年前のサムイなどの離島を思い出させてくれる。ビーチ沿いのコテージ、清潔で、泊まるだけなら問題なし。冷蔵庫、ミネラルウオーター、歯ブラシ、ドライヤーなし。シャンプーと石鹸 グラスのみ。今回泊まったのは、ファンルーム 。エアコン付きの部屋がが空いていればそちらをおすすめします。部屋は外より暑く、外にでれば蚊と格闘。蚊帳もあるが、扇風機の風を通してくれない。それ含めて、懐かしいタイ。不便を上回る感動の自然が待っている。目の前のビーチは特等席。

サンライズビーチに面していながら、ウォーキングストリートへすぐに出れるので、非常に便利で、過ごしやすい場所である。

6泊中2泊しました。20mくらいでサンライズビーチ、真正面から太陽が昇ってきます。またウォーキングストリートまで2～3分くらい。レストランはオンザビーチで海を眺めながら食事ができます。お値段もリーズナブルでおいしかったです。滞在中、朝食1回ランチ2回いただきました。海を目の前にして冷えたビールは最高でした。部屋には蚊帳がありますが蚊帳をはると扇風機の風が入ってこないので蚊帳はしませんでした。蚊取り線香を焚けば問題ありません。壁の上部にあるファンと動かせる扇風機が2台あります。冷蔵庫、テレビ、ミネラルウォーターのサービスはありません。トイレットペーパーは1つ部屋に置いてありトイレは水を流すレバーがあるタイプでした。シャワーとの仕切りはないのでシャワーを浴びると水浸しです。シャワーは湯沸かし器タイプで一応ホットシャワーです。すごく熱いお湯が出たり、水になったり。。また水圧もたくさん出る時もあれば水滴みたいな時も…部屋によるかもですが不安定です。スタッフはとてもフレンドリー。チェックアウトの時はおそらく携帯で調べてくれたのか日本語で「ありがとう」と言ってくれました。またチェックアウト後、数日経ってからランチに行くと覚えてくれていて「おいしい？」と日本語で聞いてくれました。ゲストは欧米人ばかりなのでとても静かで、まったりしたゆるーい空気が流れてるリゾートです。他に2か所、ここより高いリゾートで宿泊しましたが客層やロケーション、料金など総合的に判断するとここが一番リゾート感があり、かつロケーションも完璧です。リペ島は宿によってまったく客層が違うので、のんびり静かに過ごしたい方には絶対おすすめです。

部屋は初日、シャワーの出が悪かったが、クレーム対応後は問題なし。エアコンの効きも良し。テレビはありません。 サンライズビーチ前なのでビーチでゆっくりしたりする人にはおすすめです。 飲食店が連なるウォーキングストリートにもすぐ行ける場所です。

My second visit to Koh Lipe and my 1st stay at Gipsy. This time around, I brought 10 of my friends and we just love Gipsy. Near to Walking street, nice and clean white sand beach, some privacy as its located at Sunrise beach. My sister has picked Koh lipe and Gipsy Resort as the best place for relaxing and she really enjoy her 2 night stay in Gipsy. Well done!

Mattress was super old, I felt every spring! Bungalow with fan doesn't cool down at night even with open windows, fan on etc. It was clean alright. But garden view is a joke. There are just a view plans in front of the bungalow.

Not worth the price for 1,900 THB one night! We were not expecting this for Koh lipe and thailand. Stayed in many places and paid less far more better. very expensive for a old room, bed were hard and bad smell from water in shower and room had mold smell. Only upside is it is right at the sunrise beach, which is beautiful and staff were good. Food at Resturant was just so so!

Pros: -Clean -Good price -Silent -Confortable Cons: -Beach beach which hotel is located isn't good. Too much boats, you can't swim. -Hotel doesn't offer snorkels. -Restaurant could be better. Small meals and more expensive compared to others in ko lipe.

This was my third stay at Gipsy Resort in 4 years, it is very well located on Sunrise Beach and very close to Walking Street. It's a pretty easy walk from the pier where the ferries arrive or a quick tuktuk ride (we paid 100 baht as it was the middle of the day when we arrived.) It gets extremely hot in the fan rooms during the day so we spent most of our days on the beach with perfect white sand and a beautiful view, which was literally a few steps away. There is a restaurant on site for days when you don't want to go anywhere, and is very close to our favourite beach bar, Sea La Vie. Absolutely love staying at Gipsy and we will definitely be back again!

2 PART REVIEW DUE TO WORD LIMITATION-PART 1 Firstly, this is our 5th visit to Koh Lipe in the last 2 years, and this was the most underwhelming experience we have had thus far. We will continue to stay on Koh Lipe, we just won't stay here again. We planned to travel over the Chinese New Year period and prefer to stay on Sunrise beach. Unfortunately, I left my booking until the last minute, and discovered only 2 properties available with the possibility of air-conditioning. One of those possibilities was the Suite Double Balcony room at Gipsy Resort. This 27m2 room was advertised as maximum of 2 persons, but since I had seen other people online reviewing that they had stayed in the room as a group of 3, sharing existing bedding, I decided to contact the resort. I spoke to Robert, inquiring if a rollaway bed could be added to the room and stated we were prepared to pay extra. Robert agreed this was ok and the charge was 500THB per night extra to which we agreed.

This was our second stay at Gipsy and it was even better than we remembered! There is a range of options for accommodation (from family rooms, AC, non-AC, beach front, bungalows, etc) with prices varying. The undercover restaurant/reception area on the beach is a wonderful place for breakfast. Next door Blue Mojito Bar is a cracker too. Beach out the front of Gipsys is perfect for swimming and you are literally a two-minute walk away from Walking Street and all the fun and chaos of Koh Lipe after dark! We LOVE this place and will definitely be back. Robert the manager and all his friendly crew couldn't be more helpful.

First of all Koh Lipe has become an expensive island for accommodations. We choose this resort for the price. It’s still quite expensive for what you get. But the bed was great and so was the shower. And the terrace had a hammock. Basic facilities which we find important. The only thing we missed was complimentary water. In a country were water isn’t drinkable from the tab an essential basic in many hotels. About the location. It’s great. Right on the beach. Close to the famous walking street. Unfortunately there is a bar nearby on Sunrise beach that played loud music until 2 AM and we couldn’t sleep easily because of the loud music. They should close all bars on Sunrise beach.

“海沿いのホテルです”
泊まったのは、コテージのファンルーム。 お湯のシャワーだし、蚊帳も有ります。 夜になると蚊が出て来るので蚊帳が必要ですが、閉めると扇風機をかけても風が入らないのが困りました。 暑いのが苦手な人にはお勧めしませんが、タイの昔ながらのリゾートを感じたい人には良いと思います。
