For me: the best part of this hostel is the staff. They are super friendly! Everything what we need, they helped us. I think is a family business. The room was ok. The bed is a little bit harder (for me that is very good, I prefer) and the aircon works very good. I liked the colors and paintings at the walls. That gives to this place a good vibe :) Is very close to de old city and have a very good and nice local night market and to take the red trucks to meet doi suthep.

we arrived late with our flight, and apparently they had overbooked which for us was unacceptable to inform us about just hours before when we booked it 3 months in advance. After alot of discussion and frustration we got the room anyways. To which I regret today. Very dirty room, your soles literally get blackened from dirt when you walk on the floor, only one of two in the reception knows decent English. They never clean the rooms it seems so you have to ask for all amnenties yourself if you want it refilled. The artwork is nice, but everything else isn't. I really can't understand the high reviews.

Good location, nice staff but rooms are not soundproof so can hear sounds from outside/ hallway/next door clearly.

Hotel was strategically located just right outside Old City, near to almost any attraction. Good place to stay if you don’t mind the facilities. Staff mostly spoke Chinese because of Chinese tourists but understand basic English. Overall, a pleasant stay

room did not clean everyday. No fridge provided. The shocking pink color of the wall was very bright. The mattress was too hard and I have a few mosquitoes to annoy at nights.

When we arrived they gave us a different room from what we had paid for. When I asked for explanations they tried to convince me it was the correct room and after half an hour they admitted our room (of a superior class) was occupied. We accepted to stay in the room for 1 night and then change, but we never had our room! The room we were in was stinky, an horrible smell coming out from the toilet, the toilet door could not be closed and the bed and the pillow are totally uncomfortable! The bed is so hard you cannot sleep, they don’t have the usual sticks under the mattress, but a wooden table! We changed the hotel after 2 night even if we had already paid. Horrible experience.

it was good. Great for the price bed was a bit stiff. Patio had excellent wifi and seating area if you don’t mind traffic on the road. Staff was awesome held our bags for us three days while we were in pai.

First of all, the room we booked was not available, then the bathroom was not clean with mold. At least we had no water to shower or cleaning the teeth.

I stayed here for 2 nights. I liked the room and the comfortable bed. But in these days of staying. The water supply was out of order during 2:00a.m. ~7:30. which was really terrible.

This hotel was decent, it’s like 20 min walk from the main tourist area of Chiang Mai. There is an amazing cafe across the road which made staying here so much better. Would prob stay here again, overall not much to complain about. It was basic but had what ya need.

Used to be called purple day hotel,changed name because of bad reputation.?You can do so much better.The worst thing is the air fresheners everywhere trying to take away bad smell.

Air-con not cold at all, even we inform a man at the receptionist, he told whether that will be cold in 30 minutes at least, so after we meet mentioned time still the same as we enter the room and we can't move to new room cause only high category must pay for that more a bit baht. No breakfast, no mini-refrigerator, that find for this price, because of we escape from high temperature from our apartment and book the room with basic room facilities Air-con, but we missed our expectation.

as our first stop into Chiang Rai, we uncover Purpleday, a funky cool place that is great value. Internet a bit up and down, but all in all, value for money. As we had a car, they let us park in frond and made for a good locating for us to see the local city side attractions.
