the owners have gone home to the UK, but they were amazing people, Ricky was a riot, I missed that old UK banter, it was in a strange way refreshing after constantly being treated so kindly in Asia :P They were both very accommodating and very kind people. The hostel itself was quite nice as well, with a good location, good ac, good lockers, and a nice little kitchen where they made breakfast. (not much selection for a vegan/vegetarian, but I'm sure the menu made a lot of people feel at home.)

First, they did message me on the email about my booking and let me do an early check in at around about 7:30am. The owner were a lovely couple!!! (Paphitchaya, a Thai woman and Richard from the UK). They speak very good English! They really look after me when I was there. Very good location! Near the Tha Phae Gate. Very clean room and the bathroom as well! Paphitchaya even let me sit on the sofa (as if I’m in my own house) and let me watch the movie I want. Plus the security of the place is superb! After 9pm, you will have your own set of keys for the two doors before you get into the place. Definitely recommended!!!!! Cheers!🤗🤗🤗

Stayed in their double room-no window to try to save some money, and I wouldn't recommend it. Stale air coming through the vent and lots of water damage on the wall by the bed. But I guess you get what you pay for. I'm guessing their other rooms are much nicer. Facilities outside the room were pretty good.

Tucked away from the busy noisy street, La Maison Verte didn't fail to charm us with it's quiet environment, friendly hospitality yet strategic location. Our stay was a real pleasant one and Nam, the owner of the place went all out to assist us in any way we can. If you are one for a peaceful stay that is not too far away from the happening parts, this is one for you.

This hostel is great if you are a social butterfly/ party traveller. That isn't what I personally look for in hostel accommodations. The shower and toilet areas didn't feel very clean either.

No A/C.. the owner was late on opening in the morning which resorted in us having to wait for him.. he did appologize and was very sincere! Let us keep our bags there during the day even though we checkout! Nice place

The staff was kind to everyone, and the handsome man was a tour guide, he can give you suggestions about the traveling. Cheap, cozy, not far from Tha Phae gate and the Sunday night market. I would like to stay here next time.

They went over and above to help make recommendations of what to do, as well as help us arrange a hike and guide that was not as common. Could never have done it without them. Can't say enough good things!

We really enjoyed our stay at this guest house. The room was spacious and clean. The shared bathroom was also clean with good warm shower. With oy four rooms the other guests get to know one another well. Another plus we went to see the owner play guitar at a local bar one evening. Highly recommended.

I stayed here for a short stopover in chiang mai and it was perfect for me. The new owners are very friendly and helped me catch a taxi to the airport the next day, at a local price. The location is very convenient - lots of cafes, massage places, and shops nearby. The room was basic but a great value for the cost!

“スタッフは親切なんだが設備が・・・”
とにかく設備がダメダメすぎる ２階にあるシャワールームでは、シャワーヘッドが固定できないため、シャワーを浴びるときは常に片手で保持しないとダメだった とか。 ３階の部屋に泊ったんだが、部屋には窓があって、窓のすぐ外は隣のゲストハウスの部屋の窓なんだけど、カーテンが窓全体にかからないため向こう側から見られ放題だったとか（さすがに、向こうがカーテン閉めましたが） 今どうなってるかはわかりませんが ターペー門に近いので、観光には便利だし、夜も静かでした。
