ナイトマーケットに近いので立地は良い。 ただ、スタッフが少し不親切。他のゲストハウスではチェックインすると部屋と共用部を案内してくれるが、ここはそういうのが無く、わざわざ聞きに行く羽目になった。またデポジットが少し不明瞭で、タオルと鍵の保証金として900バーツ支払った記憶（高いと思ったので印象に残っている）があるが、300バーツしか返金されず。3泊したので初日の記憶が曖昧だったのと確かに紙面上ではその記載があったのでこちらも戦う術がなかったが300バーツ程度であれば高いとは思わないので釈然としない。泊まる場合はチェックイン時にきちんと確認したほうがいいです。

プール付きということもあり、ほとんど欧米人宿泊客。 Wi-Fiサクサクで良かったです。 駅からも旧市街からも距離があり、ホテル周辺の道が暗いのでロケーションは良くないです。

滞在中の客層次第かもしれませんが、大きなホステルなので団体客が多く、夜遅くまでうるさい。また夜中に部屋に戻ってくる人も多く、落ち着ついて過ごせません。ナイトバザールが近いのでその点は便利。また共有スペースが椅子しかないため、読書したり文字を書いたりして過ごしたい人は向かないかもしれません。スタッフは親切です。

We arrived at this hotel with a reservation for December 26th for one night. We looked all around for the front desk, as we didn't realize the front doors were blocked and closed. There was only one staff member and she said she was the chief accountant. There were a few guests roaming around, but the place had a strange vibe. After speaking with the accountant, who said we couldn't check in because they closed down as of last night, we were shocked. She told us that there was a big party last night and all of the staff walked out and quit, taking "everything" with them. We asked her if she still had out 2 rooms that we booked through Agoda and she said there are no rooms, because they are closed down and have no staff. She said she couldn't give us any rooms, because the hostel can't function without staff and she wouldn't want to get bad ratings. Seems like it’s mostly European backpackers staying at this hostel. It has all you need but look slightly old. Friendly bar staffs I remember. Not a single asian guest staying can make you feel out of place as an asian.

Pros: location is really good, especially for the night market. The old town, if you're down to walk, is about 15mins from the place. Beds are really comfy and dormitory are good as well. The pool is nice after a long day wandering around the city. Staff is nice for activities or bookings. Cons: I was there during the Yee Pang Lantern/Loy Krathong festival. Prices are the bar/restaurant are not only high, they also varies depending on the mood of the people behind it. Best advice is to go a few streets down and enjoy street food.

It seems you did not enjoy the period you stayed in, due to the festival of lights-Loy Kratong, which happens every year in Thailand. It was a good size hostel with a swimming pool and refillable water the breakfast options you could purchase was good and it's a easy place fo make friends just around the corner from the busy bazaar night market

When I was at Brick House in the middle of October 2019, there were many complaints about a lot of the rooms having bed bugs. The workers at the hostel didn't seem to care and just kept moving people to other beds to "fix" the problem. They still rented out those other beds. The rest of the hostel is nice with a salt pool and little gym. It is a social hostel. I wouldn't eat at the restaurant there, it is overly priced for the very small portion of food that you receive.
A hostel accommodates guests that come to their property after staying at various other budget properties. Some actually have been camping outdoors and therefore, bugs and other insects are in fact 'brought' into our property. As Owner, we endeavor to treat these rooms as quickly as possible to maintain out reputation of providing 5-star accommodation. A total of 154 guests stayed (in and out) of our property during the 2 days that Miss Mikela was there and there were no other complaints about bed bugs. So to claim that my property has a bed bug infestation is not true and has brought disrepute to our property. As a preventive measure, we have a steamer and encourage guests to steam their bags before going to their rooms. For treatment, we close any room having bugs and treat them with appropriate chemicals for 3 days.This effectively clears the room of any pests. GUESTS; PLEASE DO SEE FOR YOURSELF WHAT WONDERFUL FACILITIES WE HAVE FOR VERY AFFORDABLE RATES AT BRICK HOUSE HOSTEL.

Great location, staffs are helpful. It’s a party hostel so if you love to meet new people and love to party i would recommend this place but if you want to relax in a quiet place, this hostel is not for you. Nice pool.

This hostel has it all: great location, great staff, and a great facility! In one word, pool. In a few more, a swimming pool with waterfall feature. But also, rooms have big lockers great for backpackers, private bedside plugs, and little bedside lighting. The staff is incredible and so kind. The location is perfection. You’re right by the night market, right by the central city, and so much more. Big fan.

I was robbed and left for dead on the side of the road in Chiang Mai. Sofiya found me and immediately bandaged my wounds, I was losing blood badly and thankfully, Sofiya was an universal donor. She brought me to Brick House and nursed me back to health.

I really enjoyed staying here. It was a really clean establishment, with friendly staff. It had a swimming pool and a small gym area for people to use

i stay here for 3 days and they dont make up my bed even just once. tour desk not help, cannot explain well and not friendly at all. the swimming pool was good but quality of the water? i decided not to swim after i checked of the water.

Our regiment for changing bed sheet is every 3 days if the same booking is still in-house. And changing of bed sheets at every check out. BrickHouse hostel is where you need to go if you plan to visite chiang rai ! The place have is on pool, gym, restaurant and bar. Reception is open 24/7 and the staff is really helpfull. They will help you to book your activities and your transport every time tou need it! I highly recommand

they have swimming pool but so dirty, the room never lock, and so messy and dirty, and the bathroom? OMG.. awful, dont have shower, only 2 bathroom can working, so hot, the water flood, dirty, dont have any amenities, like never clean up a month..the staff, when i check in, just said.. u go there, not showing the room and not explain anything, location just 4 min walking to night bazar and center of the bazar.. dont want to stay in here again
