We booked this hotel because we were crossing the border. Unfortunately our bus did not stop at the terminal nearby so our ride was much longer. Once we checked in we discovered that nothing was opened nearby and there were no restaurants. The staff was very friendly and opened the store for us to get snacks. Breakfast was on time the next morning and the driver took us to the border. The proximity was very close to the border but not much else.

Booked to be close to the Thailand-Laos bridge for an early morning crossing. Book a family room which was huge and had 2 bathrooms but only 1 hot shower. It was fine but only for this purpose really. The staff arranged a lift to the Thai transmigration office in the morning - a great help.

This is very convenient if you want to cross the border first thing in the morning. But be careful. Google maps has 2 locations. The correct one is the one closer to the friendship bridge (the border). I walked from the highway, and it was a lot further than I expected. The bed is very hard, but the staff is very helpful. They gave me a ride to the border for free because it was raining.

“Only place to stay when you cross into Thailand fr on Laos”
This hotel is the first hotel after you get to Huay Xai and cross into Thailand. They are so accomodation rooms large and clean. Simple breakfast but more than enough. They will pick you up at boarder crossing 1km from hotel, and even take you to bus station to catch bus to Chang mai for free.
