Boutique hotel on the sea. Very friendly welcome. They upgraded us to a room with an amazing sea view. Clean room and close to the night market and the city center. Breakfast without a buffet but very nice. We really enjoyed our short stay in the city and in the hotel.

The host was warm and welcoming, introduced placed around to explore upon arrival. Room is spacious and clean, only downside was the breakfast meats were cold.

The Inn staff are really accommodating and nice. The location is ideal for walking to and from the night market and other spots such as Taiping Garden, etc.

HI-INN location is the best part, it located just near by the sea coast, while some room may not be able to see the sea coast, but their rooftop are open and allow you to spend some time there. A new building will be built between HI-INN and the sea coast, therefore, in the future, the sea coast view may be affected. another point on the location, it located quite near to the night market and some famous restaurant, 5-10 mins walking distance, enjoy your night time there. p.s. no 7-11 or familymart convenient store nearby.

The hotels in Taiwan have always been expensive, and this one is no exception, a guesthouse like this would cost you much less even in Japan. The room was very small but as promised there was a small balcony and partial ocean view. Typical for Taiwan: even if you arrive less than 1 hr before their official checkin time, they never let you check-in, always asking you to come back after their check-in time. This is nonsense in the country with empty hotels (and not so well managed). In other countries in 90% of cases I am always allowed to check in at least at 11 am or noon without even asking. Should improve their staff training, the girl at front desk was always reading something and not always greeted people.

All the service staff is very friendly, the hotel location is close to night market, only take around 10 minutes you can arrive at night market. Everything is good, only room is smaller. The morning breakfast must upgrade something.

Very near to the beach (just opposite) & night market (~ 5mins away). No nearby convenient store thou. Nice & clean. With lift access. I missed the breakfast so cant comment. Friendly owners. Will visit HIINN on my next trip to Hualien!

The location was the reason i booked and i wasn't disappointed in this regard. It is one small street away from the sea and you can see the ocean from the 3rd floor rooms upwards. Our view was blocked slightly by another building but you can see from the roof. Very near the huge night market in hualien, at most a 5 minute stroll by the sea. Laundry machines and detergent are free but there is no dryer. In hualien weather most days that makes it pretty useless but we appreciated the effort. Apart from that breakfast was decent and the owners and staff were very friendly, helping us book a tour at last minute notice and giving us a lift to the train station on our final day.

Place was very near to the sea and u can go for a early morning walk or cycle along the long track. 5 mins walk to famous Dadongmen night market with a huge variety of food and games vendor including coffin toast and no.1 bbq. Room is spacious and comfortable with good sea view. Breakfast provided is very healthy, porridge with variety of vegetables and toast bread and coffee. Recommended place to stay!

The place is within 10 minutes walk to the night market. I have booked 2 family rooms and a double room with balcony with sea facing. Is really better than expected.
