We stayed for just one night so we could do a safari trip to Yala national park, room was comfortable and air con worked well (was really needed here), it's not in the main town with the lake but not too far really. The smaller town near by had all we needed and there was a market near by in the evening (mainly produce) that was worth a little time to see and talk to locals. Bus stop at the end of the street and shops close by. We arranged our safari trip at the hotel and the guy we has was great, no leopard but still great. Only thing is we were told we have breakfast ready before we left in the morning, this didn't happen as the caretaker was not well (hungover I think) in the morning and only just managed to get up in time to let us out (4:30am) for out driver to pick us up for our safari, he did ask the driver to stop and get us some rotti bread but if we had known we would have stocked up on some snacks or something more. all in all good value and the caretaker was very friendly

We booked a 'Budget Room" on Agoda and were surprised to find it had no air-conditioning, as this is usually included in the room title E.g Budget Room (fan), but this was a mistake on our half as we quickly made the booking that morning and didn't read all the details about facilities. The room was extremely clean and well furnished however it only at a small window so was very hot with no ceiling fan but only a pedestal fan available, needless to say it was a very hot and sleepless night.

Good location. Very cheap. Host is super friendly. Rooms are new. You can book safari to Yala, price everywhere the same. He makes you breakfast to take away since you have to leave around 5:00 am. Really recommended

The rooms were clean and comfortable. We left a jacket there, and they were nice enough to mail it to our next destination.
