ウダワラウェ国立公園を訪れている間、私たちはここに一晩宿泊しました。部屋は快適で、エアコンはうまく機能し、Wi-Fiは速かった（部屋ごとに接続できるデバイスは2つだけですが）、食事はおいしかったし、スタッフも attentive でした。スタッフが私たちのためにサファリツアーを手配してくれ、すべてがスムーズに進みました。ここでは音がよく響くので、音に敏感な方は耳栓を持ってきてください。

これは私たちがスリランカでの9日間の滞在の中で最も高価なホテルでした。他の宿泊施設の価格の2倍と言ってもいいでしょう。しかし、どこにいても必要な施設がすべて揃っています。部屋はとてもシンプルで、装飾は全くありませんでしたが、非常に清潔で、滞在に必要なアメニティはすべて揃っていました。 国立公園からわずか2分の距離です。サファリ付きの部屋を予約しました。すべてが非常によく手配されていました。ジープは準備万端、ガイドも良く、交渉も煩わしさもありませんでした。そして、サファリの体験は素晴らしかったです。スリランカのすべてのアクティビティの中で、3歳の息子が最も楽しんだのはサファリでした。本当に価値がありました!!!

Had a great stay here while visiting Udawalawe National Park. Location is perfect, very close to the park entrance. The hotel packs a tasty breakfast bag to bring on the safari. Clean rooms and good food in the restaurant. The best about the hotel is however the friendly staff and the great customer service by all the staff. A special thank you to Indu & Nadun for the friendly welcome and the help on my departure! I highly recommend to stay here.

The hotel is close to safari park,and serves good food. The pool / bar area is small,but cozy enough to relax.

The rooms were of polished concrete and very elegantly designed. I felt very comfortable in this hotel. During the curfew after the bombings the staff stayed on in the hotel in order to make sure guests were well catered and cared for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We can highly recomend Elephant Trail Hotel! Its in the middle of nowhere, but you feel like you have everything! Very nice and helpfull staff, always willing to provide you the best service:) We stayed for 3 nights before we moved on down south. We went for a safari tour of 8 hours that started at 5:30 in the morning, this was arranged by the hotel, and what a nice day that was! We got to see so many elephants, buffalos, crocodiles, birds and lots more during the day, and it is amazing to see them in their own habitat- the nature:) The second day we went to the transit Home for young elephants that lost their mother, i am so glad that there are people helping the elephants like that! The hotel was clean and beautiful and the food was really good! Thank you to all the staff for always smiling!:) Best regards Sara and Eddin from Sweden:)

We stayed just the one night and did the early morning safari the day we left. It was booked via reception but was reasonably priced and the vehicle and driver supplied were very good. Staff at the hotel were very good and the room quality was much better than most places we have stayed in whilst in remoter areas of Sri Lanka

We stayed here on night for a safari. The architecture was very attractive. The pool was attractive and sparkled at night. I would have happily stayed for a longer visit.

The pictures on the booking sites look better than in real life. Even though it was a beautiful hotel with a nice design it was poorly maintained. Quite a pity for such a good looking hotel. But the hotel staff however was really nice and helpful. We thought it would be great to have a hotel close to the national park but it was actually a bit too far from all the rest like restaurants, bars etc. So we took the bike from the hotel and biked to the closest city, which was 7-8km from the hotel. We ordered food at the restaurant in the evening, which was good and prices similar to restaurants we had in Sigiriya and Ella.

hotel very nicely located, interesting architecture, but unfortunately very dirty :( rooms not cleaned up after the guests, behind the wardrobe a lot of cobwebs, in bathroom cockroaches, dirty bed linen, towels used and dirty, half of the bulbs in the room burned out. little polite service. the water in the pool is very cold, so you can not use it.pretty good food and friendly service in the kitchen

The hotel closed its restaurant and bar without notifying us. Only until we were checking in did they tell us this because all their staffs were 8km away working for a special event for Christmas Eve. Also there were MILLIONS of every kinds of bugs here. No hairdryers.

The hotel is stylishly designed and the rooms are spacious with tall ceilings. The staff at the reception and restaurant were friendly. I think the hotel has a lot of potential but it would but it would be good if it fixes a few things. The temperature of the water in the bathroom was inconsistent; the air-condition was malfunctioning; the power sockets weren’t working; the choice of food for vegetarians is very limited, and there are no other restaurants or shops around. I’ve had some delicious vegetarian food in Sri Lanka so it’ll be great if they could have that on the menu. They would b

An expensive restaurant for mediocre bland food, staff were friendly enough. The rooms and place was very clean and the rooms were lovely, however water pressure on the low side. There is nothing else in walking distance apart from the hotel next door which does do a cheaper option of a buffet lunch. The tour they organised to the national park was very well run and the guide/driver was spot on.

Not really much to write about here. Average food, which is probably to be expected for a hotel in the middle of nowhere. Kitchen closes at 10pm so when we arrived at 10:20pm, we had to make do with drinking water instead of a meal. Location to the Udalawewe National Park is great and there is a small swimming pool, but otherwise nothing much to do. Tried to take out their bicycles in the afternoon, but either the tires were flat or the seats too high, and no tools to fix or adjust. The working bikes were being used by staff. Cut short our stay here and left after a night instead of the two we were booked for.
