Staff realy nice. Very good Room exacly like photos, good cleaning and comfy bed. Also a big plus they can keep your bags after check-out in case you have a later trip back home. If needed I will return for sure.

First of all it was difficult to find the hostal because the sign outside the building says "Hostal San Antonio", not Carracedo. The reception is on 2nd floor and handles both Hostals. The receptionist during night doesn't speak English, so better to arrive before 8pm. The hostal is located very central in a nice street full of good restaurants. The room and especially the bath is tiny and it was hardly manageable to sit on the toilet or to stand in the micro size bathtub to take a shower. There was no cover on the bedding, just a loose sheet put below it, so you had contact with the not very clean bedding while sleeping. There was only one (!) pillow for two people (most other hotels have four). The towels didn't have hooks to hang them, so it was difficult to dry them overnight. In summary, for 42 euro per night this hostal is way too expensive.

The position is great, just walking distance away from all the attractions, se we never had to use any bus or underground. The only tricky part was about finding it because there are no signs outside, just a small one on the wall near the bells of the building. In fact the hostal is inside a regular building, on the second floor. A little bit hard to find, but we did it. The staff was really nice and helpful, the room was new and clear. So, perfect for a few days stay in Madrid.

Для остановки на одну ночь, если больше, то лучше снять квартиру. Персонал очень ненавязчивый и совсем не заинтересован в ваших просьбах. For one night stop, if more the flat is better. Personnel is not very friendly.

Note that this seems to be the same property as Hostal San Antonio if people are confused by the sign outside. Nice place in a great location. Secure and quiet. Man who checked us in was not very welcoming, but otherwise a good place to stay. There is an elevator tucked away at the back of the building if you don't want to haul bags up 2-3 flights of stairs. If arriving by train, there is a sizable hill leading up from Puerta de Atocha station, so may be worth taking taxi or metro if it's a hot day.

Nice and simple place to stay. Located in central area. No building facilities but the room is very nice and modern and clean. So I would definitely stay again.

The hostel is located near the centre of Madrid, surrounded by cafes, bars, restaurants and quirky little boutiques. Most of the ciy's main attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and relatively small, but very well-maintained and have everything to meet your needs. Loved it!

Great central location, we could walk to everything but the metro is at the top of the road if needed. The room was so quiet, the shower was hot and everything was clean. A gem of a hotel. If I had to suggest improvements, the hairdryer lacked power and the pillow was a little soft but I’m sure if i’d requested another pillow it would have been available, I wasn’t bothered enough to ask. Great hotel, would recommend and would use again

My wife & I stayed at Hostal Carracedo recently 21st - 26th January 2019. We were more than happy with our stay. Ok, it does not have a lift, but with both of us at 72 years of age, we had no problem climbing 3 floors of stairs. The new lift was under construction and of course will make a difference. But don't let its absence put you you off. This place ticks all the right boxes from location, price, room condition, cleanliness etc. We will be returning to Madrid & will definitely be looking to stay here again.

網上訂房時聲稱所有房間均有陽台/露台及街景，去到入住時三樣都冇，房間只對天井，有被編感覺，自己不會再入住，更不會介紹給朋友.

최고의 가성비 숙소라고 생각합니다 좋은 위치와 깔끔한 숙소상태 굳이 한가지가 아쉽다면 직원분이 영어가 아예 안되시지만 나머지는 흠잡을 것이 없어요

깨끗하고 위치는 중심부에서 약간 멀지만 걸어다닐만 합니다. 다만 엘레베이터가 없고 체크아웃 후 짐을 맡기려면 추가금이 있으니 고려하여 예약하시는게 좋을것 같아요!

숙소가 최근에 리모델링해서 깨끗하긴 합니다. 하지만 수건을 이틀에 한번 교체해준다는 걸 다음날 알려줘서 당황했네요. 짐이 많은 여행객에는 비추입니다. 엘레베이터가 없어서 짐을 4층까지 나르면 힘이 쭉 빠지네요.
